Paul and Sam's eyes pierced against each other. Samuel was still in a jolt upon seeing the guy. He closed his eyes temporarily, his chest heaved as he took a deep breath. This is just a dream. No, it's not Paul. It's not him. No. He opened his eyes, and Celestine extending her hand out to Paul proven that it wasn't a dream.

He yanked from his bed and hollered, "Celestine, No!"

Her eyebrows perplexed, allowing for crease to surface on her forehead, before she hauled her hand away. She looked like as if there was a question mark on top of her head. Samuel advanced towards her, and gently dragged her behind him through her waist. Her expression turned tensed. She was about to ask him what was happening when the guy in front of them started talking.... in a very loud voice.  Her stomach swivelled nervously.

"Samuel, you're not getting away with this! Not again! I won't let you steal her again from me!" The guy who remained unknown to Celestine uttered in a rough and husky voice. Fury flashed thickly through his eyes.

"I did not steal her from you! You stole her from me!" Samuel snapped and retorted.

"Do you think lying in front of her is best in this situation, Samuel Jake! Oh, c'mon! You know, you stole her from me! How could you! We were engaged! We.. were f*cking engaged!"

Her heart was beating faster than normal. It was racing and lurching against her chest.  Tears started to pool in her eyes. It was getting really difficult for her to breathe. She was scared. Her anxious voice croaked softly at his nape, "What's happening? Samuel, Who is he? Tell me!"

Samuel turned on his heel to face her and just as he caught her timorous eyes, memories came rushing to his mind.

Hot forms of liquid trickled and sluiced through his body; clothes drenched in extreme perspiration. His heartbeat raised. His breathing quickened. His muscles were weakening.

"Just 30 meters more. I can do this," Samuel eagerly said in a determined voice.

"Hey Mister," the girl running after him called out to him.

His feet halted and turned his head to the girl. He raised one of his eyebrows in reply.

"You dropped this," she said, handing the iphone back to him.

He shoved it deeply into the pockets of his shorts and quickly twisted around and rushed off jogging.

"That's it? No Thank you? Fine!," the girl shouted.

Samuel shifted around after she shouted to say thank you, realising what he did but she turned around and jogged the other way. "Oh well," he returned to what he was doing, thinking that she might think that he was the most egotistical person in the world.
