Yunhyeong's POV
I was shaking my leg nervously on our ride to Chanwoo. I never was outside of our territory.
Not by myself.
Donghyuk was with me, but he said he better keep a bit of distance from me. Just for any case. And now I can't even enjoy his scent."Yunhyeongie, it's going to be fine."
"I'm... Worried. It's our first date. And we're alone... I don't know. I was nervous the first time. I think I already ruined my chances for him to like me."
"If he is trying to calm you down, I don't think you ruined your chances. Don't be so hard on yourself." He scolded me. "Let him try. Who knows, maybe you'll fall for him."
I had doubts. But I am trying.
"Yunhyeong, it's good to see you again." Chanwoo smiled at me when he greeted us."Chanwoo, hello." I smiled politely.
"I hope there weren't any problems on your way?"
"Oh, no. Everything was fine. Uh... This is Donghyuk. He's going to watch over me today." I said, introducing the two. "Dong...This is Chanwoo."
"I'm assuming you're the best friend Yunhyeong was talking about," Chanwoo said as he looked at Donghyuk.
"I am. And let me tell you this - dare to hurt my baby brother and I'll kill you." He gave him a warning look.
"Dong...!" I looked at him before looking at Chanwoo. "I apologize for him... Don't take him seriously."
"Just pretend I'm not here," Donghyuk said, looking at me. "You'll be fine?"
"You're still here... Don't worry," I promised and he nodded, messing my hair before stepping a bit away from us.
"Again - I'm sorry," I said.
"It's fine, he's simply worried about you." Chanwoo sighed amused and offered me his arm. "Let's get going then?"
I hesitatingly hugged his arm, nodding.
"I thought about taking you to one of my favourite cafes around here. It's near the Han river, I'm sure you'd like it."
"I... Like Han river." I said. "I spend there a lot of time in the summer when there's a firework show."
"That's good then." Chanwoo smiled. "I'm just warning you, and maybe your... Brother should know too. We share a border there with another pack. So tell him to keep an eye out, because they can be unpredictable."
"Then why are you taking me there?" I whined, holding his arm tighter.
"Because it's a really beautiful place." Chanwoo smiled at me. "And I'm here to make sure you're safe."
"But..."
"I promise you, I've been there a lot." Chanwoo held me a bit closer. "They don't cause problems usually and are staying in their own area. You have nothing to worry about."
"Then why are you scaring the poor omega?" I heard Donghyuk from behind us.
"I'm just letting you two know," Chanwoo said. "For any case."
We walked inside the cafe, Donghyuk said he'd keep a watch from outside. I nodded and let Chanwoo lead me inside the cafe.
I hope Donghyuk will be okay. He's an alpha, after all, so he should be fine. But if there really is a dangerous pack around here... He's just a sub alpha.
"Worried about your friend?" Chanwoo asked me.
"I... No. I mean... He'll be okay. Right?"
"Obviously." Chanwoo nodded. "C'mon, let's sit. You can order anything you like."
