Chapter 6

Minho's POV

I watched Donghyuk as he was carrying an omega, followed by Chanwoo.

Once I saw him getting inside a car, knowing he's safe I walked away. That's good. At least he made it out of here.

The omega he was carrying... I guess that's the omega who has his scent all over him. I wonder... What is their relationship?
And what are they doing here?

If not the brat, I could have found out more.

My mate...
It couldn't be a mistake. It's really him. Even if he doesn't believe in it.

Donghyuk seems like a strong alpha. He's looking after an omega after all. But he's not completely fearless. I wonder if I'd see him again.
I hope I will...

God, his scent was so sweet to me. And he's such a beautiful alpha...
Why must he be from a different pack? Why can't he be a part of mine? I don't even know where he belongs to...

But if I'd ever happened to see him again, I better warn those good for nothing wolves not to hurt, scare, touch or do anything like that to him.

They won't respect him as they respect me, but they should at least behave themselves. He's my mate, and I'll have him in my pack.

A little omega won't win against me.

Chanwoo's POV

I watched as Yunhyeong's car left, sighing softly. The day felt too damn short. But Yunhyeong seems to be better than he was during our first meeting.

His 'brother' though... Is sure overprotective.

But I got to spend some time with my omega. Well... My future omega.
He's still not officially mine.

Luckily, he smiled today a lot more than last time. And he's so adorable when he's smiling. I get this isn't going to be easy with him. He's a complicated omega. But he's worth it.

And the fated mates thing... It would be nice... To find out he's my fated mate.

I still wonder why Donghyuk suddenly asked me about it. I froze and frowned.

Wait... is Minho...?

"Holy shit..."

It can't be, right?
I don't exactly know what happened between them while I was eating with Yunhyeong, but Donghyuk didn't seem too pleased with Minho.

Not like I can blame him. He's getting annoying really easily.
But Minho... His fated mate...? Does it mean he knows?

I hummed to myself as I walked back home. Maybe it's a good thing.
Maybe if Minho would have a mate it'll tame him and he'll stop trespassing on my territory.

I obviously can't push Yunhyeong's friend to date Minho, but maybe I can make them meet again. And that means I can see Yunhyeong again. That adorable omega...

God, I really hope he'll like me.

Today I saw his ears and tail for the first time, such an adorable wolf. I'm sure his full wolf form isn't less adorable. I can't wait to see it.

I hope his father isn't going to say anything to mine. Because I really behaved myself today. I was a good and respectful alpha, even if towards the end I might have gone a bit overboard.

But it doesn't mean his father would find out about it.
But it seems he's slowly opening up to me, so that's good.

I can't believe I'm thinking about it, but maybe I should meet Minho and suggest him to meet Donghyuk again.

I admit I'm working only for my own interests, I want to keep the border calm. And if using Donghyuk is the solution... It's not like I'm forcing them to marry. I only want them to meet.
Things would end up working out on their own. I'm sure of it.

   
    

"This is rare of you, Chanwoo," Minho said as I was waiting on the bridge of the river to him. His second hand, Seunghoon was next to him. "To ask to meet me."

"I noticed you have an interest in Donghyuk," I said as I looked at him. "I have an offer."

"Mino, what did I miss?" Seunghoon asked.

"I'm listening." Minho crossed his arms, looking at me.

"I'll bring him here again. You'll have the opportunity to talk with him and maybe get closer."

"And why are you helping me, handsome?"

"I want you to calm the fuck down and back off my territory."

He gave me a look before sighing annoyed. "If I'll have him then fine, I'll back off."

"Mino! You can't be serious."

"Trust me, Hoon. It'd be worth it. We have more than enough territory. And we can still annoy our lovely neighbours at the west border."

"Just to make it clear, I can't make him yours. I can give you the opportunity to meet him. The rest is your job."

"Who is it, Mino?"

"My mate..." Minho said so softly, it surprised me.

I nodded. "We'll be in touch the next time he'll be here."

"Wait, the omega."

"He's my fiance. Dare to hurt him and I'd kill you."

"Keep him the fuck away. All of his smell is over my mate."

"It's not like I can do much. They're friends, but nothing more."

Minho nodded and he and Seunghoon walked back inside their territory.
It's not like I'm forcing Donghyuk, I'm just using the opportunity.

Besides, he's lucky to have found his mate. I'm doing him a favour.

I'll have my omega to myself. Minho will have his mate. Everyone will be happy.
Now I just need to think about how I'm doing it without making it too obvious.

I also want to introduce Yunhyeong to my friends if I get the chance.
Today he asked me if they're looking for omegas... So maybe he can bring his friends over and we all meet together.

I need to plan this really carefully in a way Donghyuk won't suspect anything because I can tell he doesn't really trust me.

Maybe I'll ask Yunhyeong himself to help?
I'll tell him the situation. If we're going to be partners, I need to be honest with him. I'm sure he'll be happy to help out his friend.

I'm helping mine, he'd help his... It's a win-win situation. If I'll be able to make everything work out... I'm sure my dad would be pleased.

He really doesn't like Minho and his pack.
