Chanwoo's POV

I looked at the wolf next to me, and it seems like he fell asleep.
I nuzzled him a bit, getting nothing in return. Right now, every instinct in me told me to keep watch and protect him, even if I know that we're in his house and his territory.

He's such a beautiful wolf. And he was smaller compared to me and it's adorable. My beautiful omega...

I licked his ears again before resting my head on his body.
I never really saw an omega wolf before since they usually stay indoors when I'm out patrolling with my dad. I think I saw my mom's wolf form a few times, but it's not the same.

I instantly lifted my head up when I heard the door, growling quietly. I stopped when I understood that's just Yunhyeong's mom, and she looked at us surprised before smiling softly.

"Thank you for cheering my boy up. Make sure you protect him, okay?" She said softly, closing the door.

I looked at it, waiting to see if it'd open again before resting my head back on Yunhyeong, closing my eyes too but I still made sure to pay attention to the sound around us.

Yunhyeong should rest if he needs to. It wasn't easy for him. And I'll have to apologize for growling at his mom. But I can't help it in this form.

I must protect my mate when he's sleeping.

We learned that wolves are really territorial beings. That's why we work on scent. What has our scent, is ours. When we mark a mate, they're ours.
We don't cross each other's territory.

But obviously, there are wolves who don't really follow this and decide they're better. Minho is a great example of this.

So now, no matter who it'd be, I'll make sure to protect my mate from danger unless I'll understand it's someone I can trust.

God... I hope his dad won't be home soon because I don't want to growl at him after hurting his son.

I nuzzled him, getting more comfortable. My precious Yunhyeongie...
His scent is so sweet.

It took me a while to notice it. Yunhyeong usually had a mixed scent. Alpha's scent is a bit stronger than an omega's, so I noticed the alpha scent he had on him.

But the more time we spent together, the more I noticed his scent. And that's how I understood he's my mate.
But I wasn't sure until I didn't have my breakdown.

    

    
I think I ended up falling asleep as well. What instantly woke me up is the sound of Yunhyeong whining.
I opened my eyes, seeing he also started to wake up. It didn't seem he wanted to wake up.

I licked him before nuzzling him, and he whined again before closing his eyes again, trying to get comfortable. I nuzzled him again, trying to push him a bit to get up.

I get him. It's really comfortable being like this together. But we can't stay like this forever.

I shook myself, nuzzling Yunhyeong again to make him wake up, biting his ear as well. He let out another whine before yawning and shaking his head. I assume he wasn't pleased.

But Yunhyeong still looked at me, nuzzling me before getting up and stretching himself. I decided to let him change back first, so I closed my eyes to give him privacy.

"I'm done Chan." I heard him saying and then felt him petting me. So I opened my eyes, looking at him before nuzzling his hand.

Yunhyeong chuckled at that, smiling. I love his wolf form. But right now... I can see him smiling. And he's really adorable when he smiles.
