Chapter 19

Donghyuk's POV

I groaned when I felt I'm waking up.
My head was killing me... God.

I slightly opened my eyes, hissing when I felt something in my wrist, I opened my eyes, seeing I was connected to an infusion.

It looks like I'm still in the guestroom, though...

Fuck... What happened...?

I slowly sat on the bed, holding my head when I felt like everything was spinning.

Minho... Where is Minho? Is he okay?
I looked to my side but he wasn't there.

"Mino?!" I asked in panic.
Where is my mate?

"Mino!!"

I could notice his scent because he spent a lot of time here. But I can't tell if he's still here or not.

Did he go somewhere? Why would he leave? He's still not feeling well!

I almost considered disconnecting myself when the room door opened, and I saw a familiar blonde.

It just wasn't my blonde.

"Thank god you finally woke up..." Yunhyeong sighed in relief, looking at me in worry. "I didn't hear you, I was making food for you."

"Where's Mino?" I asked.

"He'll be back soon. He said he wants to meet with his second in command about what happened. You were out for almost two days..."

"He just... Left?"

"He went out over an hour ago. He'll be back soon. Please lie down. You really need to rest..."

I shook my head. "Mino..."

"Dong, your mate is okay. I promise. Now lie down while I bring you food. He was really worried about you..."

"But, he-"

"Lie. Down." Yunhyeong looked at me, and I groaned at that.

"Yunhyeong."

"He'll be back soon. You took care of him enough, now worry a bit about yourself. I'll be right back." He said and walked out.

I sighed deeply.

He's not supposed to go around place. Hee's still recovering. I'm going to scold him once he's back.

He better be back. Or I'm going to find him and kill him. God...

He's lucky we're not living together yet.

I looked at Yunhyeong as he came back with a tray.

"I made you some rice porridge with bacon and also seaweed soup. Make sure to eat it all."

I sighed softly, holding the tray on my lap. "I'm sorry..."

"For what?"

"For all of this mess. You were supposed to move in with Chanwoo and I was supposed to leave. Instea,  you and he had to look after Mino and now I'm causing problems..."

"Dong, you're my brother. Of course I'll take care of you when you need me... now please eat. The doctor said you collapsed from exhaustion and dehydration."

"Mino needed care...-"

"But you can't take care of him if you're unconscious, right?" Yunhyeong asked before sighing and brushing my hair. "Don't worry. Just focus on getting better. Let me know if you need anything. I'll warn Minho to look after you and make sure you're resting."

I nodded, slowly starting to eat.

God... I don't know if I was really hungry or because I had never eatene raw meat for such a long period of time.
