Chapter 17

Donghyuk's POV

I looked at my phone, looking at my chat with Minho.
He was out on patrol and I told him to text me as soon as he gets home to know he was okay. But he still didn't text me.

Maybe he's still patrolling? Or maybe he fell asleep and forgot. It's getting quite late...

"Still no answer?" I looked up, seeing Yunhyeong wearing a robe as he was drying his hair with a towel.

Since he moved to live with Chanwoo, I had no choice but to move with him. Just for the first few weeks.

It means that in three days I'm moving out and going to live with Minho as we agreed. He already introduced me to his pack and prepared everything for me to move in.

But right now he was out patrolling, and I had a really bad feeling. I don't why, I just can't stop being worried.

"It's not like him. He always updates me. Especially now that we're in the process of me moving in."

Yunhyeong sat next to me on the couch.
"Minho is such a strong alpha... I'm sure he's okay. Don't worry Dong... I'm also worried about Chan, he still didn't come back either..."

We both frowned as we heard loud barking from outside.

"Stay here," I told Yunhyeong and got off the couch to open the front door of the house.
I looked down, seeing two white wolves. One was okay but the other... was unconscious and bleeding.

It took me a second to realize before screaming in panic.

"Donghyuk?!" I heard Yunhyeong who ran to the entrance as well. "My God..."

"Mino..." I kneeled down, getting closer to the injured wolf as I started to sob.

"Chan..." Yunhyeong kneeled down next to the other wolf, hugging him tightly. "God... what happened..."

Yunhyeong put the towel around the white wolf, Chanwoo held into it as he changed back, panting.

"I... I was out on patrol with a few more of my pack when I heard loud noises near the river. But when we got there... I saw Minho on the ground with two wolves next to him, their mouths were bleeding and I understood they probably ambushed him. I... I carried him here after chasing them off with my pack... he lost concussion on the way."

I just barely listened to him as I looked at Minho, feeling panic. Minho got hurt. He got hurt and now he's bleeding.
It can't be happening... This can't...

"Chan, go and change. Dong, I'll bring towels and we'll take care of him." Yunhyeong made me look at him, giving me a worried look. "He's going to be okay... He's strong. Let's stop the bleeding first..."

Yunhyeong stood up, leading Chanwoo inside while I stayed with Minho.

"Mino..." I sobbed. I decided to change to my wolf form, I don't care about my clothes right now.
I lied down next to him, licking the blood off his white fur as I whined. I tried nudging him with my nose, hoping to get any type of response from him.

My strong alpha... Has been injured. I should have joined him, but I couldn't.
I still don't live with him, and I had to watch over Yunhyeong. Where was Seunghoon! Don't they patrol together?

What happened?

"Dong..." I looked up at Yunhyeong who looked at me in worry.
"Would you please let me try and stop his bleeding...? I promise I won't hurt him..." He asked in hesitation, showing me the wet towels he brought.

Only then I understood I was growling at him, so I calmed myself, letting out another whine before moving a bit away.

Yunhyeong kneeled down, gently starting to clean the blood.
I nudged Minho again before licking his face.
