Chapter 13

Donghyuk's POV

"Oh my God, this is so sweet and romantic!" Yunhyeong said in excitement as we were sitting in my room.

I told him all about my date with Minho and told him I'm supposed to meet him tonight according to his texts. To be honest...
I really hated him at first.

I didn't expect to like him even a bit. I didn't want to have him as my mate. But... I'm happy I gave him a chance.

He still acts like a jerk, but I get to see a side of him not everyone can.
I don't know if he'll be a good alpha, but so far I'm enjoying talking with him or spending time with him.

"It's not exactly romantic..." I sighed. "This idiot will get himself killed."

"This is why it's romantic!" Yunhyeong pouted. "He's willing to risk himself to see you."

"Anyway, can you convince your dad not to kill him?"

Yunhyeong hummed. "I can try. What would I get in return?"

"Wha- Yunhyeongie...!" I gasped. "You're asking something in return after everything I did for you?"

"You're giving me short notice. And we're talking here about a strong and intimidating alpha. Also, you ask me to do a favour for that intimidating alpha."

"You asked me to help your alpha," I argued. "The only reason I met him was to help the brat have some peace in the border with Minho's pack!"

"I want food. You'll take me to my favourite restaurant tomorrow."

"Fine." I sighed deeply.

"Yes!" Yunhyeong smiled, wrapping his arms around me. "You're the best. Make sure you don't forget, you promised."

I sighed amused, messing his hair.
Yunhyeong really is spoiled. It's partly my fault, I know that. But I can't help it. Even now that he has his alpha, I still can't help but spoil him.
And it seems like his alpha spoils him as well.

"I'll talk with dad and make an agreement with him, but I assume Minho will have to promise not to cause trouble."

"I'll make sure he won't. Thanks, Yunhyeongie."

"Then I'm going now before he'll be out to patrol." He said as he got up. "You focus on getting ready for your date tonight."

I nodded, getting up to walk him. "I hope it'd be okay. I'm feeling nervous to have him over."

"You said he was sweet to you. So it'd be okay." Yunhyeong hummed, hugging my arm as we made our way to the front door.

"I didn't get the chance to say that... But I hope he'll make you happy. I couldn't... And I was too busy focusing on what I wanted to notice you're miserable. I've been a terrible friend and an omega. So this guy better treat you right."

"I hope so too..." I said quietly. Yunhyeong hugged me and left.

In the evening I packed a small bag with my date clothes and my phone.
Minho told me he'll be in his wolf form since it's faster at night, so I guess I'll have to hold the bag with my teeth as I'd follow him back to his territory.

He said his territory is really beautiful and fun at night and he can't wait to show it to me.

I looked out of my window when I heard barking, seeing a big white wolf with sharp golden eyes. Is that Minho?

I guess that was him. The look this wolf had reminded me of him. Yunhyeong told me Chanwoo was a big white wolf. But I had no idea Minho would be one too.
