You woke up to the natural sunlight shining brightly into your room, nearly right into your face. You inhaled deeply as the smell of inscence and something cooking reached your nose. Okay, the inscence you definitely burned last night, but the cooking... You grin and stretch, your bed still messy from last night's tussel. The place Shayne occupied now empty, and the scent of (your favorite breakfast) in the air making you increasingly hungry. You checked your phone and replied to a few tweets, the time being way too late in the "morning"- if you could call it that. And hopped out of bed, your oversize shirt hanging to cover your underwear. Your footsteps padded down the hallway, and eventually down the stairs where you gazed into the kitchen to find Shayne cooking up a storm, "damn... What is with these men and cooking me breakfast? " you thought ironically, as though it were written in one of shaynes dumb romcoms, or some fanfic you have yet to read about yourself and Shayne on the internet, though you wouldn't lie to yourself and say you hadn't read a few very interesting ones after you two made a video together on smosh... Your heart fluttered for a moment as you remembered the news, it seems like just yesterday that smosh was nearly disbanded and struggling. But Ian reached out to everyone and let all of you know that GMM swooped in and saved the day. And now, here, standing barefoot on your cold hardwood floor in an oversized t-shirt, you swore that everything-everything- was finally perfect and finally going your way. The pangs of guilt that tore at your stomach yesterday were gone and replaced by warmth, you walked over to the kitchen where shayne was singing his heart out now and cooking away and hugged him from behind as your took in your wonderful, favorite, breakfast... That weren't just pancakes on a plate. But something extraordinarily more. Made with love-and happiness-and the laughter that you regained. No, love isn't everything, and your friends-all of them, that were there to hold your hand along the way-Mari, Ian, especially Wes... They all helped you gain that back... And now was the start of something even more special.
