chapter 61: The Milan plan.

The helicopter let them down on the roof of the club. Bulletproof vests were directly given to them by 2 of the bouncers, Conan and Kylian.
'The boss is not back from Cuba yet. He will be back in 2 hours.' Kylian said.
'We need to see Selena. Have you received any other orders?' Alyssa asked, pressing stressfully her protective jacket.
'We haven't. Miss Dallas is in her office. Should I contact Bell?'
'I already did.' Zayn cut him off.
'Alright. Go down there and wait for the boss then.' The tall massive bouncers said.

Both of the agents nodded. Zayn caressed Alyssa's hand to reassure her, but she pushed him away.
So what was he expecting after all?
And it's in a deep heavy silence that they walked down the stairs and entered Spoon's living room. Selena's eyes met Alyssa's. They didn't know why nor how, but they were both hurting inside.
She hugged the blondie tight:
'What did he do?' she whispered.
'He zayned.'Aly responded.
'James will be there in 5 minutes.' Zayn spoke so the two friends would stop ignoring him. Selena rolled her eyes and sat on the white leather couch.
'We won't wait for him. We're in deep shit.' She said, emotionless.

Alyssa and Zayn took a seat. The atmosphere surrounding them wasn't usual. It was cold, tense.
'Dan will be there in...' she checked her watch '1:42 hours. And we have no time to lose. The Milan plan is in 4 weeks, and even if we are unready, we can not miss it.'
'When are we leaving?' Alyssa demanded.
'3weeks.' Zayn said, without even giving her a look.
'Sorry for the late.' James apologized as he entered the room.
He walked towards them, looked at Selena in a way he had never done before, hugged Alyssa, and checked Zayn's hands.
He posed his briefcase on the table and opened it. 'Spoon, briefly send me this.' he announced, giving his three mates a white envelope.
'I know the plan, James. I do not need that shit.' Selena coldly replied.
'What do we do?' Alyssa asked.
'We'll leave in three weeks. We have no other training planned. Once in Milan, we'll be at Fernando Parigi's hotel.'
'The Palazzo?' Aly asked.
'Yeah. We have two suits. One for Aly and me and the other for Zayn and you.' Selena continued, a disgusted look on her face.

Zayn and James exchanged looks, probably wondering how the other had messed up. 'Anyways, once there, I will hack the city's surveillance camera system to have access to the camera of Corso di Porta Ticinese and the café Napoli, where they have an appointment. That way, we will be watching them 24/7. Three of us will be hiding near the cafe on the meeting day: two of you will enter by the back door, and I will be in charge of the commands to say who does what and when.' 'What about the fourth person?' Zayn questioned. 'The fourth person will be the bait. This person will enter the cafe during their meeting and order something. While ordering, this person has 3 seconds to turn around and make a diversion by randomly shooting everywhere.'
'That's crazy? There's like 99 % of chances for this one to die!' Zayn exclaimed.
'No, because we'll be there.' James guaranteed.
'Who the fuck will do this suicide mission?'
'I will.' Alyssa said.
'No, you won't.' He returned.
'This is the most logical thing to do: I'm the best shooter, and only half of their team know me. So Victoria won't be able to control herself, and she'll mess up.'
'She's right.' Selena hardly agreed.
'What the f-? I also am a great shooter, and so is James!' He yelled.
'Zayn, for fuck's sake!' Aly screamed. 'I am going to be bait. And the three of you will have a short 10 seconds to help me. And that's fucking it.' She calmly spoke. '
You're all crazy! Don't you realize that you're gonna die?'
'I fucking won't! I've been the bait for my whole life, and look at me, am I dead? No. So now you're gonna stopped acting like your in positions to make decisions.' Aly defended herself.
'I hate you.' he said.
'Excuse me?' Aly replied.
'Stop!' Selena clapped her hands. 'Whatever happened between you two, you let it down in my office.' She ordered.
'Victoria will never kill me. She'll just be angry as fuck.' Alyssa insisted, looking at her ex-boyfriend.
'She won't kill me either!'
'But the other will! I'm forever safe, and you've heard why.' the blondie stated.
'Being Graziella Moretti's daughter does not give you immunity.'
'You're a Carrera?' James exclaimed, surprised. 'Yeah, and Selena's JD's daughter! Oh, what a surprise! We have a mission to plan.'
'I'll be the bait, Selena will be at the command, and Zayn and James will enter the back door. Simple.' Alyssa resumed.

Everything was ready and clear. The four agents had three weeks to learn every detail of the plan, every inch of Milan.
Spoon still wasn't there. Alyssa and Selena were still in the living room of Spoon's apartment. As for James and Zayn, they were down at the bar. Both of the best friends' duos explained how their relationships exploded.
'What the hell? With Carolina Dick-sucker-son?' Alyssa yelled in surprise.
Selena smiled: 'I had the same reaction...'
'Okay, so basically, James cheated on you because you did not tell him JD was your mum?'
'He did what?' a voice behind them yelled.
'Damn.' Alyssa frowned. 'I'm sorry.' she whispered.
'Danilo! How are you?' Aly turned in his direction. 'Alyssa, you fucking stop acting like when you were 16. Selena, I swear to god he is dead.'
'Please stay the fuck out of it. I'm no longer 16!' She said.
'Okay.' he simply said.
'Really?' Alyssa and Selena exclaimed at the same time.
'You're 26. You dated a guy that pissed on you. If you don't want me to kick his ass, that's not on me.' He raised his hands in the air.
'Wow... You've changed...' Selena whispered.
'10 years passed.' he said, kissing her forehead. Spoon then left the room; Alyssa's eyes were wide open. It was the first time in her entire life that she saw him being calm.
'And you're still mad at him?' Aly whispered.
'Less and less.' she smiled.
