Chapter eight ➵ What's the plan? (correctly)
'Dear silence, I was starting to miss you!' He sighed, relieved, looking at the sleeping beauty next to him.
10 minutes have gone by. Furthermore, Zayn started to find the silence he made oppressive. He looked at the blondie. She seemed light, soothed, sort of quiet. The Pakistaniquickly parked his car in the middle of the parking lot, for two reasons
-one he was late
-two, there was a super pretty girl, unconscious and vulnerable, sleeping in his car.
The doormen opened the door to him, Zayn entered, and finally went up the stairs to Spoon's office. He knocked on the door and has been falsely welcomed by Sean Orve, a guy he couldn't stand.
'Come in! He's waiting for you!' The tall guy said, a hypocrite smile stuck on his face
'Shut your mouth, or I'll finish the work of last time.' Zayn threatened his enemy.
They glanced at each other while going in opposite directions.
'I'm sorry for being late.' Zayn apologized, sitting on the couch in front of his boss.
'No problem. You're here now.' He kindly responded.
'Well... first, I wanted to thank you for picking up Miss Jonshon last night.' Spoon started.
'Oh, You can thank me, she has been super rude even though I haven't said anything wrong.' Zayn thought, but he kept it for himself and simply smiled as for an answer.
Spoon took a briefcase and opened it. Zayn, as he learned to turn his head.
'Here are your 100 000$' The old Mexican man declared, pushing the briefcase towards his employee. Zayn nodded and stood up about to leave;
'We aren't done, Malik...' He weirdly added.
'Wh...'
'Sit down, son...'
The puzzled guy sat back on the white leather couch, worried about what the boss wanted to tell him.
Meantime, the sleeping beauty woke up without her prince and asked herself:
'What the fuck am I doing here?'
'Oh yeah... I forgot...' she sighed.
Alyssa took off her set belt and tried to open the door, but it was locked.
'Imma kill that asshole!'
The woman leaned into the seat, exhausted when someone suddenly knocked on the window. Aly flinched. She turned her head to see who the fuck just gave her a heart attack.
'Oh, thank god!' she smiled. 'C'mon, open the door!'
He liberated the princess.
'It's been a while, Sean! How ya doin' man?' The blondie asked, hugging her old friends and partner in crime.
'I'm fine. Spoon's talking to some dude. Do you want coffee?' Sean invited his friend.
'Oh... That would have been a pleasure... but I just came to take back some clothes. I have a mission in two hours...' she declined.
'Ah... no problem... I... It's okay!' He kindly agreed.
Zayn knew all the goals and heard all the arguments Spoon has been telling him back in the office.
'What's the plan?' He asked, bitten by a hint of adrenaline and great excitement. Zayn was a bit worry, but he didn't care. This was supposed to be the most thoughtful and most important mission, even though he would be risking his life every single second.
The blondie was putting some clothes and some weapons in her bag. Then, she put on her black leather protective suit and a gun in her pocket. Then, she climbed on the roof of the Club, where a helicopter was waiting for her.
'To the Luxor hotel. Leave me on the rooftop.' Aly informed the driver.
'No problem, Ma'am, he explained to me the plan.' The helicopter driver replied.
She didn't add anything: he knew she knew.
There was nothing more to say.
The helicopter stopped the Luxor Casino upwards. The Young spy removed her helmet, opened the door, threw the ladder overboard, and started to descend off the aircraft. Alyssa finally put her left foot on the tip, Aly dropped the scale, and it went up. Then, with a rotating laser saw, Goldilocks created an opening on the roof of the Luxor.
She touched the circle of glass with her black leather-suction gloves and opened the hole. The hottie broke into the hotel without getting noticed. She went through the air ducts, looked at the screen of her infrared device, and arrived at corridor 92, Room 4402, 30th floor. With her gloves, she pushed a ceiling square and get into the room.
'Where the fuck it is?' she whispered. Her ocean eyes were scanning the entire room. The briefcase wasn't there...
Whereas Alyssa was struggling with her briefcase, James called his mate.
'What did he tell you, bro?' he asked. Zayn rolled his mysterious eyes, wondering why was Jee always treating him like a brother? Why was he caring like that? It was not that it was terrible, but Zayn hoped his friends would be less friendly...
'He paid me for picking up the bitch yesterday.' he replied.
'C'mon man, I know you like that bitch since the very first look day!' James teased his partner.
'I don't like her. She's too...'
'Too hot to handle?' The Métis man interrupted him.
'Nah, she's too... herself?' He added.
'Yeah, yeah! I gotta go. But we're not done with that conversation!' James concluded.
'Whatev, 'I don't care.' Zayn hung up the phone.
When he came back home, it was 7:00 P.M. He opened his empty fridge, grabbed yesterday's pizza, and put it in the microwave. When it beeped, Zee ate his pizza and fell asleep on the couch. His alarm rang at midnight. 'That's the moment...' reminded this conscience.
The golden-eyed man, wearing a beautiful adjusted black suit, drove, admiring Las Vegas and all these colorful lights, to the Club Delux. Then, again, he parked his car, correctly this time, and put his earpiece, walking toward the security agents who opened the doors.
The man got into the dance room. He saw James waving at him at the bar, asking him to join Mike, the barman. But he politely declined his friend's offer.
'Come.' the boss asked through the earpiece.
'Yeah, I am,' Zayn declared, leading through the dancefloor to join the VIP area. He sat on a black leather seat in front of Spoon. 'What am I doing...' he thought.
'What the fuck? Did you see that?' James ironically laughed.
'I... I don't know...' Mike answered.
'A piña colada, please, Mikey.' someone asked.
'I talked to him this afternoon. He was sort of angry...' The barman replied as he was preparing the girl's drink.
'C'mon guys, your friend's always angry!' Alyssa joked.
James turned his head to see who just joined the conversation. It was her.
'Yeah, that's true...' he smiled, waiting for the girl to introduce herself.
'Oh... I'm Alyssa.' she held out her hand to him.
'James.' James laughed as he grabbed Alyssa's tiny hand.
'Wait... the two of you are his friend?' The blondie mocked.
'Yeah...'
'Ouch... how can you stand him... I mean...' She stopped herself when she heard the sound of a gunshot. Mike, James, and Aly turned their head...
