"You ready?" Jeongin asked as he walked up to Hyunjin who was resting on his motorbike and looking at his phone.

The older looked up and stuffed his phone in his pocket before rolling his sleeves to his arms, "I'm always ready."

Hyunjin was a racer but not the legal kind, of course. Since he had no money to go to school or to afford a place when his parents kicked him out, he had stumbled upon an illegal racing league where bikers and cars racers would compete to get a huge amount of money. Being a motorcycle fan since young, he had the chance to know the ropes about driving a bike so when he went to his first race, he won.

After that, seeing that this was an easier alternative to getting money and also doing something he loved, he continued racing. There were times where he lost but that just made him come back stronger and even more difficult to defeat. Along the way, he met Jeongin who was also struggling to meet ends meet so when he offered to help, the younger became his personal assistant and since the white-haired man knew how to repair any damages done to his bike, he helped out to upgrade the vehicle even more.

After a while, Hyunjin became one of the best racers within the illegal racing committee and he had the opportunity to go to one of the biggest racings competitions ever. The MIROH bikers racing competition was held somewhere very secretive and only a selective among of racers would be chosen to race. The area was filled with rich business people and some higher rankers that would bet on who would win. The price that would be given to the winner would be a total of 1,408,078,500won. But the only problem was, this race was not a one-day thing; all racers would have to race for 3 months; each week, one race with different obstacles. Their scores would be recorded by how fast they finish and their rankings for each race.

If you're in the top 5, you're safe but if you're one of the last ones, you'll receive a punishment. When you're at the last, you'll be taken away and the hosts that held the competition would do anything to you; they could beat you up to a pulp or something even worse and expect you to continue racing the next day.

Hyunjin knew it was terrible and a really fucked up thing to do but the price was something else. He thought about what he could do with the money and how he could actually stop doing these illegal racings and race for real. So, when he got the letter saying that he was selected, you can imagine the excitement.

Jeongin nodded and looked around his surroundings, seeing all the other racers preparing themselves and having their vehicles in check before the race. "This is a big challenge," Jeongin stated, "you're racing with the big leagues, you know that right?"

"What's the difference?" Hyunjin crouched down to check if there's anything needed to be fixed on his bike, "I'm still going to win in the end."

"You so full of yourself," the white-haired man sighed and shook his head. "These aren't racers that you compete with normally. They're racers that have a darker background."

"Like what? They have a supporting family?"

"Hyunjin."

"It's still going to be the same, innie."

Jeongin sighed once more before pulling his phone and opening up a profile. "Look at this one, right here," he showed it to the older, a man with a scar slashed on his face and a lip ring. "That's Chan, one of the people that you'll be racing with."

"Yikes, what's with the scar on his face," the older took Jeongin's phone to inspect the man more and he swiped to see more racers on the device.

"Beats me but he is in a gang called 3racha."
