Felix loved flowers. He always has. With his mom being a florist, he managed to learn so much about them. Studying about flowers wasn't easy; there were various species of flowers laying over the earth, each carrying a different meaning behind them and Felix was happy to learn all about them.

It took some time; he told his parents that he would be homeschooled until he finally learned all of the flowers that existed and who were his parents to deny such request. His mother took it upon herself to teach Felix the meanings behind each flower while his father bought him different kinds of flowers for him to keep in his room.

By the time he was 14, he had learned almost everything he needed to know about flowers and their meanings behind them by heart. He often helped his mom in her flower shop with customers and most of them were surprised when the boy could help them pick out the best flowers for literally any situation.

But he knew he couldn't work at the flower shop forever so he told his parents that he didn't mind going to school now. His parents were quite skeptical of it since he never really interacted with anyone and was always kept to himself; so how will he fit with a group of people in a building?

But those worries were thrown out the window when Felix came home after his first day and told them that he had made 7 other friends really quickly. The younger then explained about a particular friend that both his parents each thought was cute considering how much he adored him.

Seungmin was his name. He was only younger by a week from Felix but he still acted so maturely for his age. Since the freckled boy entered school at the age of 16, he didn't really know what kids would do. Sure, they would go to classes and study the subjects that they have chosen but what else is there?

Thankfully, Seungmin was in almost all of his classes and he was the very first friend he made before meeting the others. The younger would guide him through all his classes and helped Felix to catch up with most of his subjects.

Felix felt like he was taking advantage of the younger but Seungimn had already explained that it was what friends usually do; help each other out. But of course, the older still felt bad so he gave Seungmin something he knew a lot of.

"What's this?"

"They're called Hydrangeas!"

"That's cool! ... but why are you giving it to me?"

"Oh, there's a meaning behind it and it's usually to say thank you! So, I wanted to show how thankful I am for your help and everything...but if you don't want it then it-"

"No, No! I'll take it! It's a really thoughtful gift, Felix. Thank you!"

And Felix always saw the flower still kept as healthy and bright. Seungmin really took care of it; just like all the other flowers that Felix would give him. The freckled boy being a little flower expert spread all around the school and a lot of people actually came up to him for advice on what flower they should give someone for a particular situation.

Felix didn't mind the little added attention; frankly, he was happy to see quite a few people interested in flowers. But there were some that would constantly tease him about it.

"Look who it is, It's our little flower boy!"

"Ugh, why is he even interested in all those girly stuff."

"Flowers are flowers, he's just making shit up."

It hurt Felix but he paid no attention because the only comment that matters were Seungmin's. The freckled boy looked up to the younger ever since they met and the chemistry between each other radiated off the roof!
