"What have you been up to lately?" Felix turned his head towards Hyunjin who had asked him the question, seeing the curiosity in his friend's eyes.

It seemed that got the attention of his two other friends who were conversing on their own but they were now looking at him with the same curiosity in their eyes. "Yeah, you never seem to hang out with us nowadays," Jisung pouted, obviously upset at his friend's behavior. "Did you get new friends or something?"

"No, it's not like that," the freckled boy nervously chuckled as he scratched the back of his head. "I've been busy these days."

"Has school and work been getting too much?" Seungmin asked, "you know I can always ask my brother to give you a few days off, he doesn't mind."

"No, no, it's fine," the blonde quickly reassured, "working at the café is fine and school has been alright as well, there's nothing that should concern you."

"Well, you've been MIA for almost 6 months," Hyunjin reminded, sipping his coffee and setting the cup down, "you barely even text us anymore."

"As I said," he repeated, "I've been busy."

But he knows it's something more than that.

If only they knew that it was someone that was preventing him from meeting them, someone who was controlling every little thing he does, someone who has been tormenting him at everything he does. God, he wanted to tell them, say out what he had been keeping for a year now but he just couldn't.

Every time he had the courage to speak out, a chance to finally tell them what's going on; he would feel chains around his throat, crushing them and he wouldn't even be able to utter out what he had planned to say. He wasn't sure why, but maybe it was because he was afraid; afraid that he wouldn't get the help that he needs and that the person would come back to hurt him even more.

"Oh, yeah," Jisung's voice snapped him out of his thoughts, making him avert his eyes to the blue-haired male. "How are you and Jeongin?"

He felt his body stiff at the mention of his name. "It's been over a year since you guys started dating but you still haven't introduced him to us," Hyunjin frowned. "Is there any reason?"

He didn't answer; how could he answer that when the person that was supposed to be his boyfriend is the reason why he hasn't been seeing any of them?

Felix didn't know when it started but the younger had been really possessive over him lately; always texting him about his whereabouts, asking who he was with (then getting angry when he was with someone the other male didn't like), and not even leaving him alone in his own space. He didn't mind it at first, thinking that it was one of the flaws that he had to accept from Jeongin but he didn't expect it to turn out like this.

He wasn't always like this; he was so different from when the freckled boy met him too now. He still remembered the day where they first met each other; Jeongin was the new kid on campus and Felix was campus's sweetheart. The principal had asked the blonde to show the younger around in which he did; most of the time it was the older talking but Jeongin made a point to comment on things here and there.

He didn't think that he had made any connection between the younger but that didn't mean that they didn't get along from time to time. He was surprised when Jeongin had asked for his number, saying that he wanted to get to know the older more and who was Felix to say no to making a new friend?
