The sounds of engines starting filled Chan's ears as he stepped out of his spot. He leaned against his car; his arms crossed as he watched all the other racers that were preparing for the match that was going to happen later on.

Chan already had his car check by Jisung and the younger said that there was nothing that needed to be fixed so he was officially good to go. This wasn't his first match; that was 5 years ago.

Chan was 18 when he first had his race. At first, it was a way to get easy money; he didn't live in a good environment, and his parents basically forgotten that they had a son so he had to do something in order to survive. He had to drop out of school during his middle school year because of financial issues and he had to work in a bar as a bartender to get a little allowance for himself.

When his birthday passed, the owner of the bar had given him a small little celebration because of all his hard work and because of the fact that the older watched him grow up to the man he is today. He overheard a conversation that one of his co-workers had with someone and they were talking about some racing match that was happening downtown.

Since cars were his thing, the idea of watching a match in person was exhilarating to him so he couldn't just skip that. But what was even more exciting was the fact that anyone could join in this. Sure, he could drive but he wasn't sure that he was good enough to race with other people that were probably better than him. But the thing that actually made him join was the huge amount of money that was rewarded to the winner.

To say he was nervous was an understatement; his palms were pouring with sweat when he was waiting for the race to start in his car. But it was all good when he just started driving. He left the windows opened so the wind was basically crushing in his car, calming his nerves down. The sound of multiple engines running and the sceneries that he would pass by completely drowned out his thoughts and worries; making his mind free and just drive.

He was so immense in it that he didn't realize that he was already leading. When he first reached the finishing line, he felt his adrenaline run high and the excitement bouncing out of his body when he saw that he was first. After that certain event, he knew that it wasn't going to be the last.

Despite having gone to many races, he would still feel his nerves running in his body and can't seem to find a way to calm down. Chan looked up at the sky that was slowly turning orange, the cool breeze brushing up against his skin as the trees nearby swayed; the weather was perfect for today's race.

He got off of the hood of his car and went ahead to find something to drink so it would hopefully cool down his nerves a bit. Once finding a vending machine somewhere in the tent that they had set up, he placed the amount for a can of coffee in the machine and pulled out his drink.

"This your first race?"

Chan turned his head in the direction of the deep voice and was faced with another person who was leaning on the pole with his hands crossed against his chest. He had pink hair and was wearing a large pink sweater, the length of his sleeves going over his hands with a pair of black jeans. His eyes landed on the freckles that the other male had, it was displayed all over his cheeks. With the way he was standing and the outfit he had, Chan had to admit; he was fucking adorable.

"No, it's not," he replied, standing up from the ground once he grabbed his drink, his gaze still on the other, "name's Chan."

"Giving away your name to a stranger you barely met?" the pink-haired man spoke, grinning as he got off from the pole, he was leaning on to stand upright. "A bit dangerous, don't you think?"
