We walked all night and most of the day, "captain, can we take a break?" I was exhausted.

"Sure, let's take some cover under those trees," he said pointing at the trees far from the road.

It was kind of awkward just the two of us on a mission. I hated small talk, I learned to keep my thoughts and my feelings to myself. I do enjoy watching people talk, I learn a lot from just listening. I could tell Kakashi was the same way.

"I hear water close," he said. "I'm getting water you need some?"

"Sure," I gave him my jug, "it is starting to get cold, should I make a fire?"

"Yeah, I think this is a good place to stay for the night," he looked around, "well keep going first thing in the morning."

I gather some broken branches and wood. I did the fire hand sign and did a small a fire ball, the fire ball was bigger than I intended it and I almost got Kakashi with it.

"What the hell?" he said jumping out of the way. "Are you trying to get the whole forest on fire?"

I did the water hand signals and put the fire out, "I'm tired," I said annoyed.

"Here, let me," he said sending a small fire ball and lining the wood. We stayed silent most of the afternoon. We discussed the plan over and strategized. "No need to overthink about it," he said confident, "it is a simple mission."

"There is no such thing as a simple missions," I said staring at the fire. The day Yunki, Jiro and Kaito were killed came to my mind. It was supposed to be a training mission, nothing too risky and they all end up dead. I looked up and he was staring at me.

"You, okay?" he asked and I just nodded, "well, I know you are a night owl and don't sleep much but I am tired. Wake me if something happens."

"Sure," I sat down and started meditating. One hour into the meditation I sense a change in Kakashi's chakra. He was uneasy, I open my eyes and saw he was still sleeping. There was sweat on his forehead and his body was twitching a little. I got up and went up to him, I stood in front of him debating whether to wake him up or not. I decided to shake his arm, "Kakashi..." nothing, "Kakashi" I said lauder. His reaction was fast, I couldn't stop it or move out of the way fast enough. I jumped back and saw blood drip from my arm, he slashed my arm with a kunai.

"Damm it Kakashi!" I shouted holding my bleeding arm.

"Yami... what the hell... Let me-" he jumped trying to grab my arm.

"I'm fine," I shouted walking away from him. I walked towards the small water fall and clean myself. It wasn't a deep cut, but the blood was flowing down and  dripping from my hand at a fast flow. I was just trying to wake him up, what the hell he was dreaming? I wondered as I wrapped my arm in a bandage. I looked back to where we were sleeping and I saw Kakashi washing his hand desperately. I couldn't help but wonder if all the rumors I heard about him were true. Did he really kill his teammates? No that couldn't be true, for what was worth he was a good captain and cared for his teammates. Even if sometimes he snapped like this, I thought as I look at my arm. I decided to stay by the waterfall and train to tired myself out.

I took the chakra blade out of my back pocket and jumped in the middle of lake in front of the waterfall. I toss the blade in the air and concentrated a lot of chakra on my feet. I took a deep breath and jumped, flipping in the air guiding the blade straight to the waterfall with the sole of my shoes. The blade cut some of the water from the waterfall making a loud thunder noise. Then the water came down again resuming its flow. I sighed when I saw my blade still stuck on the rocky wall, "fuck, I forgot to tied it to the string." I took my uniform off and went in the waterfall for my blade in just a sport bra and shorts. I went under the waterfall and stood there for a minute. The water was really cold, but I felt good on my skin, back in Sakkaku Castle the water we shower with was always freezing. The water hitting my face help me relaxed a little, I had been so tense after talking to Sasuke. He was right, how can we be happy after everything that has happened to us? he should have killed us,  "Damm you Itachi," I sighed.
