Chapter 33: Deidara and Sasori

The next day I woke up at 4 am and went straight to take a shower. When I got out I found Sasori waiting outside for me. "Come with me," he said in a serious tone. I followed him to a room where they had all kinds of weapons. "Choose what you need, and make sure you bring plenty," he said before walking out. My eyes immediately darted to the the double swords in the corner. I took them and started sharpening the blades. They were heavier than the ones I had in the AMBU, but they handle fit perfectly in my hands. I laid shuriken and kunai in the table next to me and took my bandages off. I was sealing the shuriken when Sasori came back and took a few kunai with him. His eyes stop on my forearms and grunted, "what a shame?" he said and walked away.

"Excuse me?" I asked confused. 

"Such a beautiful specimen and you are already all marked and scarred," he said before walking out. 

"What the hell?" I whispered.

"Sasori is right you know," a voice came from the other side of the room.

"What the hell?" I said throwing a kunai at whoever was lurking in the corner, 

"You sure are a beautiful woman," Tobi said walking towards me with the kunai I threw on his hand.

"What the hell do you want this early in the morning?" I asked him ignoring his comment.

"I just wanted to wish you good luck," he looked at me for a second. Then turned around and started walking towards the wall. "Sasori is going to be watching you closely so show off in front of him, if you can," he said before he disappeared. 

"He is right you know," Itachi said from behind me, "Sasori will report straight to the leader after your mission."

"I see," I continued to seal kunai and shuriken in my arms, "why are you up so early?" I said changing the subject.

"I wanted to see you before you left," he said leaning on the table next to me. "I also wanted to give an advice," he looked at me. "Don't show them all you can do, always have a an ace under your sleeve. You never know when you will need it." I turned to look at him and he poked my forehead with his two fingers and left. I thought of what he said and he was right, I shouldn't let them see all I can do. I finished getting my weapons ready and headed to the room. Itachi was in bed, laying on his side.

"My clothes look great on you," he teased. I rolled my eyes and walked over to put an extra shirt and pants on my bag. "You should get going before Sasori comes for you and takes you with his chakra strings," he said. 

I walked over and sat on the bed next to him, "tell me about them, I want to know what I'm getting myself into," I asked him.

"I thought you said you could take care of yourself," he said looking at the ceiling. I looked down at him annoyed and got up, I was ready to walk away when he pulled me down with him. "Relax, I'm kidding," he said smiling, he took a deep breath and his face got all serious. "They are dangerous both of them. Sasori is a puppet and poison master, he looks young but he is not. Deidara, well... Deidara is immature and likes to blow things up with his clay."

"Got it," I said straping my small bag on. "An old man that plays with puppets and a kid who like to blow things up."

He chuckled and sat up, "Izumi be careful, they are very dangerous, both of them." He grabbed my hand and looked right in to my eyes, "one more thing, please don't use your Mangekyo, it is dangerous."

"Okay, I'll see you in a few days then," I said and he nodded. I walked towards the door and looked back to see him one last time. "Itachi, can you walk with me outside?" I said extending my hand for him.
