Chapter 32: The Akatsuki

We all walked together to their hideout and I could sense the irritability on Itachi. He was upset because now I was about to join the group of criminals. I was done depending on others, I was not going to go back to the village even if that meant I was going to become a criminal myself. We got to the edge of the river and there was a huge bolder covering the entrance, Kisame waved some signs and the bolder moved. I looked inside and it was dark, Kisame was the first one to walk in. I took a deep breath and I was going to take a step in when Itachi caught my hand, "Izumi," he said with worried eyes, "once you go in, is not going to be easy to get out."

I gripped his hand, "at least you are here," I whispered and half smiled appeared on his face.

"Very well," he said holding my hand tight, "let's go." We walked inside together and almost immediately we were stopped by a woman, "Konan, this is Izumi," Itachi said.

"Hi Izumi," she smiled, "follow me, our leader awaits for you." She turned around and started walking to the other side of the cave. I looked at Itachi and he nodded, I let go of his hand gave him my bags and followed the woman.

I met Pein and he made it clear that I was not a part of the inner circle of the Akatsuki. My job was only to provide back up and to gather information for them. I was going to stay in the shadows until I could prove to him that I was worthy to be part of the inner circle. "We have another one like you," Konan said, "his name is Tobi, you will be working closely with him and the other members of course," I just nodded in agreement.

The leader dismissed me and Konan walked me back to Itachi's and Kisame's room. "Kisame or Itachi, either one of you give up your bed for Izumi," she told them, "I am not sending her to sleep with Hidan."

Both Itachi and Kisame exchange stares and Kisame finally gave up, "fine, but don't say I never did anything for you," he told Itachi before walking out.

"The shower and restrooms are at the end of the hall," Konan said, "Itachi can give you a tour of the hideout if you want." She turned to walk away but stopped and look back, "before I forget, just be ready for anything 24/7. Pein will call on you and he will expect you to show up fast."

"I understand," I said and she left.

Itachi walked me throughout the hideout, he showed me where the kitchen was and where their meeting room was. The whole time we walked thought the hideout I couldn't help it but think how similar this hideout was to Orochimaru's. After walking around, I went and took a shower. I was changing when someone opened the door and walked inside.

"For the love of Jashin, who the fuck are you?" the man shouted. He was tall with a well built body. He had silver hair and deep magenta eyes, he walked inside wearing nothing but a towel.

"Don't you know how to fucken knock?" I shouted back at him, pulling my pants up.

"Fuck, I don't need to knock," he said eyeing me up and down. I put my shirt on, picked up my clothes and made my way out, but he caught my arm. "Oh come on, don't you want to stay and help me shower?" he said with a flirty smirk.

"Let me go," I activated my Sharingan, but he just smiled.

"Damm, another one with those crazy eyes," he smirked, gripping my arm harder.

"You don't want to know what happened to the last man who put his hands on me." I looked at his hand on my arm, then up at his face with a sadistic smirk.

"What if I do?" he asked licking his lips.

"Do you appreciate what's between  your legs?" I asked now facing him completely.

"I will appreciate it more when it's between your legs," his flirty smirk suddenly turned perverted.

"Hidan, let her go," Itachi came out of nowhere and grabbed his arm, "touch her again and you will regret it."
