Stand tall and run down the street
This is where the champions meet
Run up to the intersection
And you'll get ball for realisation

I recite the words over again, looking deeper into it. I just knew that riddle was about Olympic Boulevard, plus the Olympics have a bunch of sports, winners and all. All I have to do now was follow that road up until it's end.

I was driving through always looking for some signs until I see a some indicating the direction to a sports centre. Bingo!. Only Justine to think of something like this. I just hope Aubrey was too nusy riding his bikes to notice the signs.

It's weird to think that in so little time I got to know so many faces of the same person and during that time I fell in love with one of them.

That's it universe, I'm in love with Aubrey!

I got to be real that I didn't fall head over for him because I don't believe in love at first sight. In some cases that can be true, but I believe that what I feel for him is the result of what I lived with him, all the time we spent together, what I learned from him and about him. Love should about loving every small detail about a person, and Aubrey was just that for me. His arrogance, his humour his passion even his grief...

My mind was now so on Aubrey that my cellphone ringing cut off my thoughts. I didn't bother to charge my phone when I woke up, so to spare some battery, I just answer through the car's Bluetooth system without even looking at the caller ID, thinking it can be anybody. Plus, I'd hate to be busted by the law for answering the phone while driving.

"Nicki here." I answer focusing once again on the road.

"I know it's you, sunshine." It's was Aubrey.

"Ready to give up, Newspaper Boy?"

"Truth is, I'm already here. I'm waiting for you though." He forcedly chuckles.

"Wait, what? How? How you'd get there so fast? I though you were trying Champions road."

"Turns out you were right. I may know a lot about sports, but you're the one who spits bars on basketball references, you do know your sports."

"And that's Nicki Minaj to you." I say in a cocky tone followed by a chuckle.

"I'm all about Onika Maraj. But hey, I need to talk to you first. Will you listen to me?"

"I'm listening."

"Good! Well, I know our silence over these last few days said a lot, but now I'm choosing to be vocal, I feel like I can't speak things into existence. A month ago I was a different Aubrey, one that Robyn's death turned me into, but after that day I met you at the hotel, somehow you brought the old me back and I don't want him to fade away again... God, does this make any sense to you?"

"Yes." I grip the steering wheel tighter as I fell tears forming on my eyes.

"Things have changed since I've been that person, but when I'm with you, my world is filled with colours again. The past is never going to be erased, what I did, what I've been through, I can't change. But I wanna try my future with you, I really do."

"I do too!" I respond loudly and clearly. The area around my eyes were start to hear as I was holding back from crying. I'm feeling so emotional right now. "I want to be able to trust again. I wanna get to know you, what you like, what annoys you. I want more than what I have with you."

When I reach the end of Olympic Boulevard, I make a right and reach the Lakers' home, Staples Center. It was a Monday morning so the movement wasn't that much, so I was able to spot Aubrey leaned on his Harley with his phone up to his ear. As soon as he sees my car, our eyes lock through my front glass.
