-Christian's P.O.V-
"So," Kaydan finally begins straitening his posture, "You are all in a relationship?"
"Heavens no!" Lucas speaks up. "I'm only dating Kyle! No way I could date Kaleb and Jasper too! No offense guys."
Kaydan gives him a dry look.
"Pretty sure that's what he meant," Kyle smiles weakly at him.
"Oh...then yes. We are all dating," Lucas finishes resting back into Kyle.
I hear Kaydan sigh and place my hand over his under the table. He doesn't move. I glance around the table and notice everyone is holding their index finger against their nose. Out of habit, I quickly reach up and do the same. The sudden jolting of my body causes Kaydan to look up at us.
He scans the table, and his mouth slowly drops open. "This is dumb. I'm not telling them!"
"You have to. Rules are rules." Kaleb states.
"I'll tell her about MY relationship!"
"That's fine-" Kaleb begins.
"-as long as you tell her she's not getting any grandchildren," Kyle completes.
"I will not-"
"I can," I offer silencing Kaydan.
He stares at me, then forces a small smile onto his face. "...Are you sure you want to?"
I nod.
"...I really don't think-"
"Absolutely not," Kyle jumps in, bringing my attention to him.
"No one else wants to," I argue.
"That's not the point. You are still a kid. There's no way our parents are going to take it seriously if you tell them."
I feel blood rush to my ears as I swallow the lump in my throat. "That's not true."
"You aren't even eighteen!" He scoffs. "Why would they-"
Lucas places his hands on Kyle's shoulders and says, "That's enough."
"I'm just saying! We would even have a better chance if Kaleb told them."
"No!" He shouts making everyone stare at him. His eyes suddenly go wide and he clears his throat. "I-I just don't think it will sound right b- because I'm irresponsible."
Jasper pulls him into a hug.
"I think we are all tired, and would benefit from some sleep," Lucas says standing up. "Kaydan, Christian, you are welcome to stay if you want to. Kyle is cranky, so I'm taking him to bed," he finishes gingerly taking Kyle's arm and lifting him from the floor.
"I am not!" Kyle pouts.
"We are going to bed," Lucas drags him to his room and stops at his door frame. "Good night guys. We can talk about this in the morning." He closes the door, and indistinct murmuring could be heard echoing in the room.
"I think I should go too," Jasper starts as he stands up. He peeks down at Kaleb. "Walk me to my car?"
He nods slowly, taking his hand for support.
"I'll see you tomorrow," Jasper calls to Kaydan before Kaleb closes the door.
Kaydan and I remained in the room alone.
"Do you want to stay here?" I ask.
"I want to know what I'm going to tell my parents," he groans.
"We have a couple of days before we decide that," I sigh leaning back.
He doesn't respond.
I close my eyes. "If it's bothering you that much...you don't have to tell them about me. I could just leave you alone for the next couple of days."
It feels like hours go by as I wait for him to answer. When nothing happens I open my eyes and glance over at him.
He is glaring down at me. He reaches over and pinches my nose. "You aren't some porno magazine I don't want my parents to find! I'm not going to hide you!" He almost laughs.
My heart pounds against my chest as I sit up and hug him.
"Let go! You are kind of heavy!" He complains hugging me back.
I take a deep breath as I stand up, and lift him into my arms. "We are going home," I say turning toward the door.
"I can walk you know," he says into my shoulder.
I ignore him and step over to it, then trow it open. Kaleb and Jasper are standing in the way with their arms around each other. "We're leaving," I state causing them to jump as I walked around them.
"Christian," Kaydan calls clinging to my back, "You can put me down."
We get to my car and I let him go over the passenger's seat. I lean in and kiss him, then stop inches away from his face. "I have an idea."
-Kaydan's P.O.V-
Once we make it back, Christian yanks me into his room. He closes the door and drags me up the stairs. As soon as we reach the top, he places his lips over mine and kisses me repeatedly. He puts his hand on my waist and pushes me onto the bed.
I take an opportunity to speak when he bites my lip. "You have school tomorrow!"
He pauses for a second as he locks eyes with me. "...Asking me to role play would've been a lot sexier," he kisses the nape of my neck, "but in this case, I would be the teacher." He bites my me sending a shiver down my spine, and quickly licks where he bit me. "Did that hurt?" He asks cautiously.
I place my hand on the back of his neck. "Shut up," I finish bringing his lips back to mine. I feel him smile as he glides his tongue into my mouth. My heart begins to pump faster, and my palms grow sweaty, but he doesn't seem to care. Before my mind goes completely numb, I place my hand on his chest. "W-Wait," I pant. "What was your plan?"
"Don't worry about it," he answers trying to close the distance between us.
I hold my hand there. "Christian."
He groans. "I'll tell you later."
"Then that's when we can continue this," I huff getting under the covers and turning away from him.
"You're kidding, right?" he pleas.
I shrug, though I highly doubt he could see it.
I hear him sigh behind me as he slides under the covers after me.
He wraps his arms back around my waist and places a kiss underneath my ear that almost makes me regret stopping him. "Good night."
"Good night."
The next morning I wake up at 5. I wanted to have enough time to prepare some breakfast for Christian. I kiss him on the cheek and slip out of his arms before heading down the stairs. I grab the eggs and orange juice, then reach into the cupboard for a pan. As I set it on the oven there is a knock at the door. I stop and wait to see if another comes.
Did he order something?
I make my way over to the door and look through the peephole. Because of the weird angle, I can hardly make out anything. I see a man with long brown hair and glasses. He was wearing a plaid shirt a khaki shorts.
Who the hell?
He knocks again.
I didn't want to risk him waking Christian up, so I open the door frustrated. "Can I help you?"
He looks down at me shocked. "You actually answered the door? I usually have to for wait hours!"
I narrow my eyes at him. "Who-"
"Christian is still asleep, isn't he?" He waltzes in dodging me. "He promised to stop doing this, but I guess habits are hard to break."
I stay by the door and swallow hard.
After he finishes looking around the place he turns back to me. "Where are my manners? I'm Christian's father."
"Ch-Chris-"
"Um," he continues stopping me, "could you please leave? It would actually be quite troublesome if my son woke up and you were still here," he finishes with a smile.
-Lucas' P.O.V-
I stare at Kyle.
"What?" He asks sitting on the edge of the bed. "I was being honest!"
"I understand that you are trying to find the best possible solution, but you could've worded it nicer," I sigh joining him.
"What would you have preferred for me to say?"
"That it would be taken into consideration."
"He wouldn't have believed me," he collapses backwards onto the bed.
"No one would've!" I laugh. "It's totally not your character!" I await a charming remark, but receive none. I glance over my shoulder at his face, and he's staring at the ceiling. "...Kyle?"
"They are never going to let me live this down," he breaths.
"What do you mean?"
"When they officially allowed me to start traveling for my acting career, they told me all of the do's and don'ts. Do: try to meet everyone you can. Don't: Stay for too long if it's not for work. Do: Stay in character if you're in the middle of a film. Don't: Settle. Do: Learn the language, Don't:..." he bites his lip.
"Meet a handsome guy like me?" I smirk.
He doesn't see the humor.
I lie beside him. "You don't have to stay."
He turns to face me with a frown fixed on his face. "Would you prefer I left?"
"If that were the case I would've sent you home on the plane, idiot!"
He shows a small smile. "O-Oh. Right."
"I'm saying that even if they make you go home, I'll still think about you and stuff," I barely manage to get out.
"I don't want to go home...I don't want to be anywhere you aren't," he grabs my hand. "I want to be able to wake up and see your face everyday. I want to be able to ruin all of your favorite shirts with my...face l-liquids? I want to teach you french to piss Kaleb off even more. I want to give you new reasons to call me an idiot, just so I can hear your dumb, stupid voice," he finishes blushing up to his ears.
I can't hold back my smile. "Face liquids?"
"Like tears, and snot, and s-stuff..." he hides his face in the sheets.
"...You must really love me, huh?"
"I-I didn't say that!"
I squeeze his hand, intertwining our fingers. "I'm glad you don't want to go home," I start. "It would've been really awkward when I'd have to handcuff you to the bed so you couldn't leave."
He turns to his side to look at me. "But you said-"
"I said you didn't have to stay, not that I would let you leave. I'm sort of obsessed with you," I finish kissing him.
"You always know just what to say, don't you?" He asks rhetorically.
"Which is why you should let me handle your parents. I have an idea."
-Jasper's P.O.V-
Once the door is closed behind us I pull Kaleb into a hug. "Do you think Kaydan will actually tell your parents?"
"Who knows?" He answers hugging me back.
The warmth of his body against mine causes my mind to stir. "Jonathan is going to kill me, isn't he?"
"I don't think so."
"I've seen how he looks at you."
Kaleb laughs out loud. "He doesn't. Believe me, I've tried to get him to."
I try to release a tiny laugh, but only manage to groan.
Not what I meant to do.
Kaleb pulls out of the hug and looks up at me, clinging to my shirt. "Not that I still like him."
I show a small smile. I really want to believe him. "I won't be mad if you do."
"It's just...having someone actually acknowledge me for the first time is kind of weird. I'm not used to it," he says looking at the ground.
I slide my finger underneath his chin and make him look at me.
His cheeks are a rose red. "What?" He asks glancing at me slightly.
I continue staring in silence.
"Jasper!" He grabs my hand with one of his.
"I know I said it before, but I won't lost you to Jonathan. Someone like him doesn't deserve someone like you."
"You..." he tears up slightly, "you always make me feel more important that I actually am."
I kiss him and pull him into another hug. "You're more important than you think."
The door slams open followed by Christian's voice saying, "We're leaving!"
Kaleb and I jump as Christian passes by. He places Kaydan in the passenger's seat of his car, gives him a kiss, and steps over to the
driver's side. He gives us a final look before pulling out of the driveway and speeding away.
We wait for him to disappear behind the corner before doing anything.
"I guess you better go too," Kaleb speaks up.
"Yeah. I have work tomorrow," I agree.
"O-Okay then." He gets on his tiptoes and kisses me.
I smile just as he pulls back. "If I asked my dad to spend the night-"
"Go!" He shouts with a grin.
"Alright, alright!" I step into my car and turn it on.
Before I close the door he calls out to me, "I- If I don't have plans for lunch tomorrow, I'll stop by."
"I'm looking forward to it. My break is at 2:15."
"I said if I didn't-"
"Don't be late," I finish closing the door. I put the car in drive and head down the road. I wait at the stop sign until I see that he went inside and closed the door.
I forgot to tell him I thought of something to tell his parents...
"If all else fails, I'll punch Jonathan," I growl turning away from the house.
