"You did great, Mary." Fabian says, kissing the side of his wife's head.

"Um, Mare, why is it kinda red up here?" Sirius asks, gesturing to the newborn's full head of hair.

"Did you meet Remus' mom?" Mary hisses at him.

"Or Mary's?" Fabian asks.

"Red hair runs in both our families. Not as violently as the Prewetts, but it runs in the family."

"Are you sure-"

"No, Lily. It was a one night stand. Remus will never understand and will freak out." Mary snaps, knowing what she was about to ask.

"As far as anyone outside of this room is concerned Andrea is biologically mine, not Lupin's." Fabian says.

"He can be cool Uncle Remmy." Mary says.

"You know they're right, Lily." Marlene says.

"He couldn't even commit to a relationship with Mary and you think he'll be able to commit to a kid?" Sirius says.

"You're right. You're right." Lily finally gives.

"They're targeting her." Regulus says, panting as he catches up with his brother. Sirius turns without warning, wand at Regulus' throat.

"You have thirty seconds to elaborate before I end you."

"The Prewett girl. Macdonald is a huge target because of her experimenting with difficult spells. They want her." Regulus says. The coven ritual, adoption ritual, and journal wards all flash in Sirius brain within seconds but Regulus notices.

"She hasn't done any since second year." Sirius says harshly.

"That's the point. She could pull them all off back then, what can she do now."

"She lost control of some of them."

"But they did the job. He wants her."

"She would never help him."

"And he knows that so he plans to go after Baby Prewett as incentive." Regulus says. Sirius eyes his brother before putting his wand away.

"How does he even know about those spells? We haven't told anyone."

"You have a spy within your ranks." Regulus says with a shrug.

"Why are you telling me? I thought you believed in all this."

"I never said that, Sirius. I said you were braver than me." Regulus says. "I'm stuck here but you can protect those who have protected you for years. It's the least I can do for her since I did nothing."

"Thank you, Regulus." Sirius says, offering his hand. Regulus doesn't hesitate to shake it.

On his way to warn Mary Sirius finds her in a fight for her life. Sirius ends it quickly by killing the Death Eaters attacking his sister.

"Where did you come from?" Mary asks, shaking from the adrenaline.

"My brother warning me about all...this."

"Little late on that." Mary says sarcastically.

"How you played with spells traveled to Voldemort, he wants you and is prepared to take and/or kill Andrea to get you to cooperate."

"Are you shitting me?" Mary demands.

"I only half believed it but then I was welcomed by this lot." Sirius says, gesturing to the dead Death Eaters.

"What do we do?" Mary asks.

"Go back to being an experimenter and protect yourself and your little girl. Fabian and I can only do so much, Mare." Sirius says, a smirk on his face to let her know the last part was a joke.

"You're a git." Mary says, hugging Sirius.

"I know."

"But I love you."

"I love you too, Mary. I don't know what I'd do without you or that beautiful little girl you popped out." Sirius says. Mary buries her head in Sirius' chest for a second longer before stepping back.

"Right. Back to creating. Let's hope I can control them this time."

"Merlin help us all." Sirius teases.

"Hey, I may be good at experimenting, but I'm better at fighting." Mary defends with a shrug.

Marlene lies on the floor playing with her goddaughter while the others stress about Lily's wedding in the kitchen.

"You could help, Marls." Mary asks.

"Nope!" Marlene says without hesitation, making toddler Andrea laugh.

Four year old Andrea plays with the stuffed animals with Harry as the adults talk/argue about who will be a secret keeper and she does everything in her itty bitty power to block it all out.

"It's okay, Andrea. It will hurt but it will dull eventually." Bill says, rocking his cousin while Dumbledore tells Molly that her twin brothers are dead.

"Where will Andrea go?" Charlie asks as soon as his father enters the room.

"She will be staying with us. We will be adding another room on by the nursery." Arthur says, wand already out and headed towards the stairs.
