"Talia?" I call as I walk in the door.
"In the kitchen!" Brooks calls.
"So, who won?" Talia asks, amused that Brooks answered for her. I enter the kitchen to see the whole coven there. One look in my eyes, seeing the terror within them, and their smiles immediately disappears.
"What happened?" Jacob asks.
So I tell them everything in detail and then show them my memories of the task from the side room until I left the hospital wing.
"It was an eventful day." Talia says, sitting in an arm chair in the living room while I go to the Floo.
"Understatement of the year. The Den!" I cry out before sticking my head in the fire. "Remus!"
"Andrea? It's rather late to call."
"Sorry, but I need you to come over. It's an emergency." I say and he nods.
"Where am I going?"
"The Cove."
"Do I want to know?" He asks, amused.
"I had helped naming it."
"That's a no. Okay, I'm coming over." Remus says and I back out. A second later he appears in our fireplace.
"Remus, Voldemort's back." I say, shocking him.
"What?" He asks, eyes wide in shock. I watch as he experiences the whole day. Once it's done he sits on the couch and just stares in thought.
"How did this even happen?"
"It's an old ritual-"
"And speaking of rituals. How long have you been in a coven?" Remus interrupts Brooks, who heard of it while studying at Gringotts apparently. Gotta love goblins.
"Eight years. Remus, get with the program!" I snap.
"Right. Sorry. Okay, so Voldemort's back?"
"Yes."
"This will need to be done carefully." Remus says thoughtfully.
"You think Dumbledore will send you back to the wolves?" Nikki asks, frowning.
"I'm certain of it. I will need to alert the others. You two be careful at work." Remus orders, pointing at Talia and me. We both nod our agreement and understanding. Once he's gone Brooks closes the Floo.
"Now what?" Brooks asks.
"Now we plan. We're the Coven of the Moored. We've never gone down without a fight." Jacob says.
"Even when fighting each other." Nikki says. Talia laughs and hugs her to her side.
"I'm going to have to be extremely sneaky. Fudge saw me there, so my job will most likely be under evaluation." I say.
"If you keep your head in the sand it leaves your ass up to be kicked." Nikki says, rolling her eyes.
"Who said that?" I ask curiously.
"Me." She says and we all make various sounds of amusement.
"Let's go have some fun!" Talia says, bouncing on the balls of her feet excitedly.
The next morning I'm dressed for work and making breakfast-Brooks helping and Talia determinedly in our way-when there's a knock at the door.
"Don't ruin my pancakes!" Brooks yells, points at Talia.
"No promises." She calls back. I smack her hand away from the bacon I'm cooking and force her to begin cutting the fruits. We pause, however, when we hear the conversation at the door.
