I sit next to Talia and wring out my hair via braiding it back. Brooks sits on my other side and shakes his hair out, Jacob uses his plate as a shield, I use my cloak, and Talia and Nikki use their arms.

"Was that really necessary?" I ask, laughter in my voice.

"Yes it was, my dear Andy." He says, putting his arm around me. I push him off me and he barely catches himself from falling onto the floor. Nikki, Talia, and I laugh at his misfortune while Brooks plays it off pretty well.

"I would also like to announce two new changes to our staff this year. Our very own Rubeus Hagrid has agreed to take over COMC on top of his other duties while Professor Kettleburn has a much needed retirement enjoying the use of her remaining limbs." Dumbledore says after the feast. I clap loudly for the Keeper of Keys and Grounds that I am so fond of and am very happy I never took COMC, knowing his love for dangerous creatures. "I would also like to introduce our new DADA professor, Professor Remus Lupin. Good luck professors."

I mentally groan and facepalm. Just great.

Two days later I have double potions before DADA. I am not excited for the day in the least.

"Today you will be brewing a heritage potion. The instructions are on the board. Once completed you will add a strand of your hair into the potion and stir clockwise exactly three times. Once finished put two drops on a piece of parchment and your family tree will appear. You may begin." Snape says.

The whole time I brew I debate over what to do. I can't fake incompetency considering I have been able to brew the wolfsbane potion for the last two years and am one of three people that can successfully brew it. I have hid this secret my whole life and now I have to just tell Snape. And Snape seems to hate Remus. I hate this man at times, the rest it's just dislike.

I take a deep breath on the last step and add in my hair, stir clockwise exactly three times, put two drops on a piece of parchment and watch as my family tree shows up. My dad is on it but not as my biological father. I get out another sheet of parchment and make a copy before vanishing my potion and turning in my parchment.

Snape makes his dramatic walk to his desk and looks at the parchment his face becomes more of a stony mask which I know is his way of attempting to hide his surprise. He looks at me and I narrow my eyes slightly at him.

After the potions lesson I head off to NEWTs DADA where we are taught how to duel nonverbally. I stay behind after class to talk to Remus.

"Andrea! You best hurry. You don't want to be late for your next class."

"I have a free period and I need to ask you something." I say, waving an airy hand.

"What can I do for you?" He says kindly, sitting against his desk.

"There's quite a few things I need to talk to you about and, honestly, I had sworn to myself that I would keep one to myself until my dying days, but I need to get ahead of Snape."

"What is it, Andrea?" Remus asks, worried now. I sigh and take out the parchment from Potions that day.

"Snape had his NEWT students make a heritage potion today. I know mine, but I couldn't fake incompetence after I successfully brewed a wolfsbane potion in my fifth year after he had agreed to teach me." I say, rambling in my nervousness.

"You can brew the wolfsbane potion?" Remus asks in shock. I ignore him.

"I don't know what you did to anger him this much, but it's starting to effect me because he didn't hate me this much until this year." I say, continuing to confuse him. "I remember you from when I was a kid, Uncle Remmy."
