Chapter 10 - Ella Henderson Gives Me Advice

I woke up to the sound of Amelia's phone. Oppan Gangnam style, Gangnam style, eh sexy lady... "What kind of 29 year-old-woman puts that as a ringtone?" I ask her as I get out of bed, "Hey I thought it was cool ok? I even know how to dance Gangnam Style. And it's 28 and a half for your information." she replied.

While Amelia was on the phone. I went to the bathroom and got ready to my first day of work in my aunt's coffee shop. I got to stay in London for 3 months, with free food and a place to stay, as long as I worked for her in the shop. That was the deal and I was ok with it, she said I could have some cupcakes on my break. Best.Job.Ever.

I took a quick a shower and dried my hair. Black leggings, white shirt, denim jacket, red all-stars and I was almost ready to go. A little bit of make up and done. Amelia and I went downstairs. On the way to the car, I bumped into...guess who?

Surprise, surprise; Ella, Josh, JJ, Jaimy, most of the X factor contestants and...George. "Hey" I smiled, blushing a little bit because of George "OMG OMG" I thought to myself "He is here what I am gonna do?!" "Laura!" Ella said hugging me "We are going to the restaurant to have breakfast, do you wanna come?" she asked me "I can't, I'm going to work on my aunt's shop" I responded "I'm the aunt" Amelia said smiling, Ella and the boys greeted her and introduced themselves. "Stay here and talk to your friends, I'll get the car" Amelia said leaving us. I was nervous and a little bit agitated. George was there and I didn't know what to do. I looked at him but his eyes weren't meeting mine. "Shit!" I thought, blushing even more. Ella noticed how awkward I was being and looked at George, it was kind of obvious we were both acting weird towards each other. "Hey guys why don't you go ahead and I'll chat a bit with Laura" she said to the boy band.

As soon as they left Ella put her hands on my shoulder "What happened between you George?" she asked "N-nothing" I said blushing for the 19324798312740912809 time. "Then why are you both acting so strange?" she asked again "I am not acting strange, I'm normal" I lied "Oh come on! Of course something happened, tell me!" she said "Nothing happened! We're all good" I told her, lying one more time. "Laura, you can trust me. I am your friend" she said looking into my eyes. I liked Ella, I really did, but I was a shy foreign girl and she was a famous gorgeous singer, I didn't know if I could tell her. "I don't know what to say..." I mumbled "You can tell me anything, but if you don't want it's ok too." she replied "But I gotta go then" she said leaving "No wait" I said grabbing her arm.

I told her everything about the almost kiss that happened last night. How I had ruined everything and that I liked George and didn't know what to do. "I still don't understand! How could you not kiss him?" she asked "I don't know! I wanted to! But I was so nervous and afraid!" I answered "I thought I could ruin our friendship with a kiss, but in the end I ruined everything without it too!" "Calm down, you didn't ruin everything" she said "How haven't I?" "You are still friends, but you aren't meant to be friends, you guys have something more. You obviously like each other and just need to sort things out!" she concluded "I guess so..." I said.

"Laura we need to go" Amelia shouted from the car, "Thank you for the advice Ella" I said hugging her goodbye "Sorry for making you late for breakfast" "No problem Laura, I'm here for you" she smiled. She went to the restaurant and I entered on the car. "Ella was right" I thought. I needed to talk to George and make things go back the way they were before. Tell him how I feel and just open my heart. But that was hard and I was a shy girl. Yet, I would still do it. He liked me too. He tried to kiss me. I smiled confidently as I sent a text to George.
