Standing in front of me George Shelley and…the rest of Union J.
“Hey girllll!” Jaymi shouted passing through George and hugging me “Ella told me everything! Why didn’t you text me?” “Sorry Jaymi I completely forgot about it” I responded “Forgot to tell us you’re working in the Xtra Factor?!” he said “She’s even got a makeover” Josh giggled “I can say the same about you and your hair” I replied ruffling his quiff “Hey don’t ruin Jamie Steven’s masterpiece!” he said running to the mirror. “But what are you guys doing here?” I asked “Well, we are contestants in case you didn’t know” JJ said “You don’t say” I replied sarcastically “Yes I say” he showed me his tongue “We were late, but our hair is already done, except George’s” Jaymi explained, “Yeah, so I need to take care of this precious thing while you can wait at the green room” the hairstylist said pushing us out of the room, “He’ll see you soon” Jamie said closing the door.
“What is the green room?” I asked “We’ll take you there” Josh responded. The 3/4 of Union J guided me through the Xtra Factor Studios, they told me about how the clips were made and that they were quite a lot of fun. And of course, they couldn’t miss the opportunity of asking some questions about a private matter… “So, did you work things out with George?” Jaymi asked clapping his hands “Tell us everything!” JJ said impersonating a girl (or actually just being himself) “You guys know?!” I gasped “Of course we did, since day one, we are Union J for Jorge tells us everything” Josh said “I think you misspelled your friend’s name” I pointed out “You mean your boyfriend’s name” Jaymi laughed “Shut up!” “C’mon, tell us!” they pleaded, “Nothing happened!” I lied, “So why George seemed so happy this last couple of days?” they questioned me “Hum…maybe because you got through?” I tried “Laura, you can even try to hide it, but no, it won’t work. Just tell us” Jaymi said “Okay…something happened” I sighed “He…er, hum, he…” “I need to know!” JJ said shaking my shoulders playfully “HE KISSED ME ALRIGHT!” I shouted “Aw I’m so happy for you two!” Jaymi hugged me “The ship is finally oficial!” “Wait, wait, I don’t think we are together…I mean, he kissed me and I kissed back, but we didn’t really talk” I explained, “Of course you didn’t your mouths were busy!” Josh and JJ giggled and started to make kiss noises “Can the two kids calm down, we’re not in the first grade anymore” I replied “Laura and George sitting on a tree K-I-S-S…” “Shut up!” I said hitting them on the head lightly “Guys, stop, why don’t you go ahead and let me talk to Laura for a moment” Jaymi intervened “Ok” JJ and Josh sighed “I-N-G!” they screamed and ran through the corridor.
“How old are they again?” I asked “Well they’re suppose to be 20 and 24, but mentally they’re like 7” he laughed “I can notice that” I smiled “But anyway…did you tell him about the kiss?” “You mean, Alex” I gulped “Yes” “Ok, that’s good. And how did he react?” Jaymi asked “There wasn’t time to react” I explained “He just asked me if I liked him and then when I was going to answer, but we were interrupted because of Josh’s foot” “Yet, if you weren’t interrupted, what would you say?” “The truth” I replied “That I don’t like Alex and that I like him” “Yey!” Jaymi grinned hugging me “Are you two gonna talk today?” he asked “We kind of settled a day for the talk, he said that Rylan was going to have a birthday party and that we could talk there” I answered “Girl, it’s a party. You ain’t gonna do talking, but snogging” he replied “Jaymi!” “It’s the truth!” he pointed out “Let’s just wait and see ok?” I suggested.
We arrived at the green room and found Josh and JJ talking to Mr.Holloway, “Oh there you are Laura, you look great by the way!” he greeted me “While the boys do the clip, you can get your micro on and see your script” “Script?” I asked “Yeah, just go to that room and Lydia can explain you everything”. A couple of minutes later I was aware of what was my job. Lydia told me that I was going to be the backstage of Xtra Factor, I had a script to follow but if I wanted I could add some lines of my own, but as long as they authorized it first. I would have a camera crew, microphone and an assistant around me, while following, filming and interviewing the contestants.
The producer took me to the make-up room where I would the first filming. It was about George’s hair. I thought it was weird but didn’t complain. “Ok, so I just enter in the room and say this and do that?” I asked feeling a bit worried “Yes, Jamie already knows it, he’ll be quiet, you just need to question George and do what the script says” Lydia responded “Ok” I gulped “Everyone ready? Rolling in 3,2…1”.
AN: Hey everyone! So I'm updating now because well, it's the weekend so I have more free time, but most of all I'm really upset with myself because I didn't updated on the 15th as I promised and I thought that chapter 39th was kind of shitty to say the truth, so I wanted to publish this chapter right now to give you guys something more. Anyway, I feel bad but I hope you like the new chapter :)) xx
