Chapter 82 - I Am Loved

Laura’s POV:

"Don’t let me go" 

"I wont"

"Don’t leave me. You are gonna leave me. Everybody who I love leaves me"

"And you’re the one who’s leaving me"

"You are making this really hard for me, Laura" 

"I want to sleep with my boyfriend!"

"I love you too"

All the memories from last night are still replaying in my head as I wake up by the sound of my phone ringing. It stops before I can pick it up.

(3) Amelia

(1) Amelia: You need to answer your phone!!

It’s haf past six now, after a long and peaceful slumber I knew that I was gonna wake up to a lot of problems to deal with. So let’s do it.

I decide to call Amelia first. I don’t wanna deal with George right now. I’m afraid, scared even, to talk to him.

I told him the truth. I told him I loved him.

Will he say it back? Does he love me?

I decide to push back the doubts in my mind since I always start thinking the worst of any situation, I don’t ever wanna get my hopes up to have them crush down later. It hurts more.

 Still, the thing I can’t deal with the most is rejection. I just don’t know how. I mean sure I can get over it with time, but my time here is so limited. I didn’t wanna tell him I love him then ruin the remaining weeks I have here with him.

Amelia picks up on the second ring.

"Laura, finally" it’s the first thing she says.

"Sorry I was taking a nap. Is everything okay?" 

"No, everything is not okay, have you seen it?"

"Seen what?"

"Oh, you are in big trouble" she sighs.

"Why? What happened?"

"Take a look at sugarscape then give me a call back, I don’t know if your parents have seen it yet or not, but I don’t think so"

"What? Sugarscape? But w-"

"Just go on the website then ring me" my aunt says before I can question any further and the call ends.

I don’t know what’s going on but I’m more than scared now. I assume it’s about last night. Oh, I know it’s about last night. But most of all I’m certain that it’s not good.

"Laura’s More Than Sweet 18" says the headline. Underneath it, a picture of me raising a shot. 

 Last night was the 18th birthday of the Xtra-factor interviewer Laura Carter. The newly celebrity was surprised by her friends and co-workers on the Mahiki Club, resulting in a night full of fun, dance, drinks and even grinding!

Carter was seen with George Shelley, from the boyband Union J, contestant of the tv show X factor, numerous times, they were already rumored to be together long ago. Both members of the X factor family deny the romance and say they’re just good friends.
