I press my finger against the down arrow on my keyboard, scrolling through my emails. I browse through my recents, not seeing anything that was important. I scoff and frown at another email from a fan. I hover my mouse over it, deciding whether I should open it or not. I find myself clicking on it, scanning my eyes across the short paragraph.

I love you guys so much. I can't wait until you guys come to my city, I want to see you live so bad. PS, tell Nino I said hi.

I blush slightly as I roll my eyes at the email, closing my laptop halfway and setting it next to me on the couch. I start to get up but I suddenly stop. I frown as I open up my emails again, and I quickly type a response to the fan.

We love you too, and I'll tell Nino.

I shrug and decide to add a heart at the end. I blush again as I send it, and I jump up from
my seat. I pat down my shirt, the rough print from the letters scratching my fingers. I start to walk towards the door of the dressing room until I catch a glance of myself in the mirror. I turn to look at my reflection, taking myself in.

I can still see my 14 year old self looking back at me; an emo and band obsessed teenager. The only thing that's changed is that I now manage a band.

I smile at my Bring Me The Horizon shirt, the band that still has my heart even 5 years later after I've discovered them. I take a deep breath and throw myself an awkward thumbs up before turning around and walking out of my dressing room.

I walk down the hallway, following the white papers on the wall marked with my best friends' band name. Broken Clocks in bold, black letters seemed to lure me in, casting excitement throughout me. I drag my fingers across the tiled wall, as I begin to skip happily.

Tonight was their first show. Bert and I had gone around town this entire week taping posters on every lamp post we could, desperately trying to promote the first show. They hadn't released any original music yet, but Nino was writing lyrics. For now, we were just playing covers of our favorite songs.

I spot the door, and jog towards it. I knock, wait two seconds, and then I excitedly open the door. I spot Nino getting ready and Nina warming up.

My lungs immediately get filled with an unhealthy amount of hairspray. I cock my head towards Nino who starts to lift the can towards her head.

"Holy shit, Nino! How much fucking hairspray have you used? I can't breathe!" I exclaim, pulling my shirt up to cover my nose and mouth. I wave my hand around, trying to fan it away, but to no avail.

She sets her hand down on the dresser and turns to me, "I don't know, but it's not enough," she shrugs.

I roll my eyes as she turns around and continues to spray her hair, the smell becoming even more pungent.

"Be careful or you're hair will forever be glued in that scene fringe," I tease, sneering at her.

"I wouldn't mind," she joked, giggling slightly.

I shake my head with a smile as I turn to Nina, who is doing various vocal warmups.

I jump on her back and throw them into a hug, "Nina! Are you fucking excited?"

She reaches her hands back to return the hug before exclaiming, "Yes! I'm kind of nervous though, but I think it'll be fun."

I pull back and give them a fist bump, sticking my tongue out playfully.

"Alright, I'm out! Gonna go check on everyone else. See you guys in a bit!" I say goodbye, blowing a raspberry as I exit the room.

"Bye, Gab!" I hear Nino say.

I sigh as I take in the fresh air in the hallway, I swear that one day Nino will completely glue her hair onto her scalp. My whole body feels light as I spin in circles while walking down the corridor, humming a tune.

I suddenly bump into someone. I step back and start apologizing profusely before I realize it's Bert.

My face lights up as I hug him quickly, "Bee! Hey, man! You ready for tonight?"

He hugs me back, "Hey, Gab. Yeah, totally ready! Too excited for this, man. I cant wait to see them up there."

I nod my head with a smirk, "For sure, man. Where you heading?" I question.

"Just to check on Nina and Nino. Have you seen them yet?" He answers, jabbing a finger towards their dressing room.

"Yeah, I just came out of there. By the way, be prepared for when you walk in. You know how Nino is with hairspray," I joke, smirking slightly.

Bert rolls his eyes, "Yeah, of course."

I nod as I pat his back, "Alright, dude. See you later!"

"See you!"

I watch as Bert walks past me and into the room, immediately coughing. I roll my eyes as I continue my way down the hallway. My gaze locks onto the white paper indicating that the door leads to the other dressing room.

I hop up to it, knocking again. I get no response and just decide to walk in. I push the door open and my eyes widen at the scene in front of me.

I watch as Tay and Mads tango dance, the Spanish guitar part of Bulls In The Bronx playing loudly in the background.

I quietly shut the door and slap my hand against my mouth, trying not to burst out laughing. I grab my phone out of my jean pocket and start recording them.

They haven't noticed me yet, and are still dancing. The guitar part ends and they immediately start to scream the following lyrics.

"Please don't take this out on me!" Mads screams into her fist.

"Cause you're the only thing that's keeping me alive," Tay continues, her hands moving like she's smoothing out something.

My hands shake from laughing as I continue to record them screaming the lyrics.

"And I don't wanna wait for the down set date 'cause I would rather end it all tonight," Mads points at Tay, urging her to continue.

"If I mean anything to you, I'm sorry but I've made up my mind!" Tay lets out an impressive scream, successfully hitting the right notes.

Mads starts to clap, cheering Tay on. They hug each other as they finish the last part together.

"Maybe we're just having too much fun!" Mads starts off, Tay joining in shortly after.

"Maybe you can't handle yourself, staring at me with your lips and tongue!" Tay shouts, dragging out the last lyric.

They join together, "I've been having this dream that we can fly, so darling close your eyes, because you're about to miss everything!" They finish, both panting and out of breathe.

I click the button on my phone, ending the recording. I burst out laughing, wrapping my arms around my stomach.

They both turn towards me with wide eyes, their arms still clung together.

My throat begins to hurt from laughter as I try to spit out a sentence, my hands clutching my stomach tightly. Tears begin to flow out of my eyes as I start to wheeze.

I finally manage to let something out of my mouth, "That was the best thing Ive ever seen."

Tay starts to laugh, "How the fuck did I not notice you?"

Mads agrees, "Right? How did we not notice her?"

I take a deep breath as I finish laughing, "You guys were just too into it."
