"Ahhh... There's nothing like flying in a jet to a tropical island!" Teruya sighed with a happy smile on his face. He relaxed back in his seat and sipped the mimosa he was given, holding onto his luggage as the plane flew.
After the interruption of the attempted killing game, Class 79 had all become heads of the Kisaragi Foundation under Yamato Kisaragi's leadership. The former agency's new purpose was to help restore the world, capture any Remnants of Despair, and support the survivors of the Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History.
But out of all the class, Yamato noticed that the ones that were working the hardest were Tsurugi Kinjo, his second in-command, Rei Mekaru, the head of the intelligence department, and Teruya Otori, the head of the treasury department and a very good mediator. The inventor waited until a period of time where things were quiet, then he sent those three to a resort unaffected by the Tragedy to relax despite their protests.
Yamato's private plane was fancy and comfortable, and it was very fast for a modern plane. Though Rei and Tsurugi were grumpy about the forced vacation at first, they relaxed after Yamato told them that their duties would be covered by other people. So for now, they could just enjoy their vacation together.
As Teruya looked out through the plane window, he suddenly realized that he forgot which swimsuit he ended up packing. He leaned over and began to open the luggage at his feet, but he didn't expect to open the huge travel case and find a person inside. More specifically, a sleeping blonde man in the case.
"What the hell? How did Mikado get in...no, why is he in here at all?!" Teruya questioned, roughly shaking the other man's shoulders in the case. "Hey, wake up already!"
Slowly, Mikado opened his eyes and looked up at the merchant groggily. "Hm? Ah, where on Earth- Ah, I got found...?" he muttered.
"Why are you in my luggage bag?!" the taller man repeated, shaking Mikado's shoulders one more time.
"Ahh, stop shaking me...!" the blonde protested. "Thigs were getting noisy with everyone moving around. I had some time off from work for completing a lot of tasks, so I thought that this would be a good place to sleep in."
Teruya pressed his hand to his forehead in irritation. "Well, that explains why my luggage was heavier than usual. It's too late to send you back anyway, so at least get out of my suitcase." After his words, Mikado obliged and climbed into the seat next to him.
Teruya had no idea how Mikado Sannoji got hired at the Kisaragi Foundation in the first place. He showed up one day with his resume full of hacking work despite never being employed before, claiming that he was a wizard. Teruya guessed that Kizuna Tomori, their cheerleader-turned-receptionist, didn't feel like dealing with job interviews that day and just hired him on the spot.
Mikado was put into Rei's division for collecting information, and he proved that not only was his hacking very useful, but he could actually preform small feats of magic like he claimed. He barely ever used magic though, only for when it was most convenient for him. And how he managed to seduce Teruya, no one will ever know.
On the private plane, Mikado leaned his head against Teruya's shoulder and stole his mimosa, drinking the rest of it. The taller man sighed and just put an arm around the blonde, wondering how much longer it would take for the plane to reach the resort.
When the aircraft finally landed, Rei and Tsurugi were shocked to see that Mikado had tagged along. "Really, stowing away to be with your boyfriend..." Rei sighed. On the other hand, Tsurugi didn't say a thing, he only left the plane in his wheelchair.
"No, I fell asleep in the wrong spot this time," Mikado admitted, staying beside Teruya to avoid the woman getting too angry and trying to hit him. Teruya didn't have the heart to tell him that Rei would hit him even if Teruya was in the way, she would hit the merchant too.
But Teruya didn't feel like breaking up a fight today. "It was just an accident, he can stay with us-"
"Hey, are you coming or not?" the group heard Tsurugi call from the ground. "We still need to check into our rooms."
Rei dropped the conversation and left, and Teruya and Mikado followed her quickly. When they got to the front counter, there were only three rooms booked since the trip was not planned for four people, so Mikado would be staying with Teruya. The four of them agreed that they should put their luggage away before they went to find any food after their flight.
Mikado opened the door and let Teruya pass through as the merchant carried his luggage, then closed the door. "I suppose one benefit of this is that I can wear your clothes when mine get dirty," Mikado remarked.
"Not a chance, there's a washing machine and dryer right there," Teruya pointed out, gesturing to a part of the wall where the machines were stacked. "You can wear your own clothes."
"Hm? So you'd rather see me waited naked as my clothes wash?" the blonde dryly replied. "I mean, I wouldn't be too opposed to that!"
Teruya rolled his eyes, too exhausted from the flight to deal with the wizard's horny nonsense, and he threw a pillow at his head. "If you have enough energy to be up to your tricks, then use it to help me unpack everything."
Teruya got a pillow thrown back at him in response, and the merchant had a feeling that his boyfriend was not in the mood for any work right now. He threw the pillow back at Mikado, then picked up another pillow to defend himself for good measure.
Meanwhile, Rei and Tsurugi met up in the hallway after unpacking their luggage. "Is Teruya still in his room?" Tsurugi questioned, drumming his fingers against the arm of his wheelchair impatiently. "If he went to get food without us, I will have some words for him."
"No, he's still in there. Just listen through the door," Rei replied with an annoyed expression, pointing to Teruya's hotel room door.
They could hear the sounds of shouts, laughter, the bed creaking, and other movement. "...Those two better not do what I think they're doing," Tsurugi sighed, and he knocked on the door. "Hey, stop messing around in there and hurry up," he called, and he and Rei heard the sounds of the room's occupants scrambling off the bed and to the door.
The door opened, and Teruya and Mikado stood there with their hair dishevelled. Tsurugi only rubbed the bridge of his nose in annoyance. "Sorry about that, I hope we didn't keep you waiting long!" Teruya chuckled bashfully, while the blonde beside him showed no shame at all.
"You two are seriously immature, fooling around idiotically while we have plans," the professor scolded them. "This trip is not the time to try and get laid, you hear me?"
"Oh, we were not doing such a thing, I assure you," Mikado spoke up, trying to smooth his hair out. "But I really wish we were!"
Teruya blushed and narrowed his eyes, he really wanted to hit Mikado in the face with a pillow.
