Sidebloggable Prompt: "Sharing Secrets"

Tumblr Prompt: https://otpprompts.tumblr.com/post/136871108404/person-a-of-your-otp-is-a-very-caring-person-and/amp

"Person A of your OTP is a very caring person and always helps everyone. One day, there is a party and person A gets very drunk. Turns out that they get very emotional and cry about how they always take care of everyone but no one cares about their problems. So person B, who is still sober, gives them a big hug, comforts them and says "I'm sorry I didn't know about this. I'll take care of you from now on." Person B drives person A home, carries them to bed and gives them a kiss on the forehead. The next day, person A wakes up and remembers everything. What happens next is up to you. Bonus: person B usually relies on person A for almost everything. Bonus II: person B is very bad at taking care of someone. They drop person A on the way to person A's bedroom."

Warning: alcohol

Hibiki didn't really care much for parties. She only attended them to maintain her reputation and to see the drunk people make fools of themselves, but she hated alcohol and everything like it.

Another reason was that she had to take care of her sister when she attended these parties. Kanade had a tendency to pick the most intricate locks on the alcohol cabinet, and she always got the first pick of the bottles for being the 'hero of the party.'

As Hibiki sighed and watched her tipsy younger twin win yet another jello shot competition, she heard the sound of someone crashing onto the couch. She turned around in shock, but was relieved when she saw it was just Setsuka, who was unharmed by the actions.

"Suka, you too..." the vocalist muttered, disappointed in her friend for letting herself get as drunk as this. "I thought your tolerance against alcohol was strong."

"Ehehe... Your big sis isn't that strong, ya know..." the billiards player slurred, barely able to stand up from the couch on her own. Hibiki stifled her complaints and went to help the taller girl.

"I should get you home. I can't have my best friend getting alcohol poisoning," she decided, putting Setsuka's arm over her shoulders and letting the taller girl put her weight on her. "Kanade's smart, she can look after herself..."

Hibiki quickly took Setsuka out of the building, planning to call someone who hadn't attended the party to get her younger sister later. As they were covered by the chilly night air, Setsuka coughed a bit from the sudden temperature change.

"Th-This is nothing, hehe, I can deal with much colder. Big Sis can deal with a lot of things!" Setsuka began to ramble. "Even being hurt or isolated, random bursts of being sore, I'm immune to it all!"

Hibiki was confused by those words, and looked up at the the billiards player. "Huh? Suka...?" When she had looked at the taller girl, she noticed that despite her cheery tone and laugher, her eyes were brimming with tears.

"Even if no one cares, this older sister is the strongest of all! I can hold everything I have to say, and even help others while I'm at it! Ehehe, Shin has met his match for the strongest person...!"

"Suka..." Hibiki had reached the sidewalk and was in the process of taking out her phone to order an uber. "I-I know you're strong, you set up lots of fun things for all of us. But if Sosie or Jiji found out that you were saying such things, you would get scolded, you know?!"

Once the uber was ordered, Hibiki put her phone away and turned around to hug the taller girl. Setsuka looked bewildered, somehow managing to keep her balance in her highly-intoxicated state. "...Biki? What are you...?" she muttered, trailing off.

"I-I don't know much about what you've been through or why you keep so many things hidden, but you really don't need to! We're friends, you can always trust things with me! and the others too, they'll be willing to listen! Well, maybe not Syobai. But ignoring him!" Hibiki declared, holding Setsuka a little tighter. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't know how sad you were. But when you're sober, we can talk and I can help! Well, try to help. I can't do much on my own, I know that..."

"Hehe... You already do enough, Biki," Setsuka protested. The vocalist was about to reply when the uber suddenly arrived, so she temporarily dropped the topic and helped the other girl into the car.

The ride there was silent, Setsuka kept almost falling asleep while Hibiki didn't know what to say. The situation was awkward enough, but she still needed to get Setsuka home. Thankfully, the ride was only a few minutes before they arrived at their destination. Hibiki paid the driver and helped Setsuka out of the car.

The trip up the residence building of Hope's Peak wasn't too hard, the building was installed with an elevator. The trip took a bit longer than expected because Hibiki accidentally dropped Setsuka into the elevator buttons, but they made it to the right floor eventually. Hibiki used Setsuka's student handbook to unlock the door, and she helped the other girl into her dorm.

With a little bit of effort, she helped Setsuka get her high heels off, and she helped carry the billiards player to bed. Once Setsuka had collapsed into bed, Hibiki let out a sigh of relief. She did want to help Setsuka with her problems, but in hindsight, she should have just called Sora to help with getting Setsuka back home.

Her phone suddenly rang, and speak of the devil, Sora was the caller. "Hi~hi, Sosie! What's up?" the vocalist asked, holding her phone between her shoulder and ear while she put a blanket over Setsuka.

"Were you at the party tonight?" Sora asked worriedly. "Things got bad. Everyone went to the hospital. You can blame your sister for that, she thought it was a good idea to make a Molotov cocktail and use it to-"

"I-I get it, I should have taken her too! But Suka was really drunk and sad, so I needed to get her home..." Hibiki quickly explained. "Um, could you bring my sister home when she's better? I have to keep an eye on Suka."

"Sure. I'll  bring breakfast tomorrow too," Sora agreed, and she hung up. The vocalist guessed that she was either at the hospital already or on her way there.

Hibiki sighed quietly as she put her phone away. Her thoughts about how she was going to scold Kanade were interrupted by the quiet snores of the billiards player. At least she'll be able to help her best friend, even if her sister was going to end up in lots of trouble tomorrow.
