"Akane Taira... That's your real identity, right?"

Sora's body stiffened as she heard Yuki's question. He was unconscious, he couldn't have possibly heard the talk she and Yoruko had earlier. But with her words during her trancelike state in comforting him, he must have understood now.

"...So you did realize it," she sighed. All of these events of regaining her identity and discovering Void's true goal were happening too fast, but she was still forced to accept them. It felt like hell.

Yuki shook his head. "No, I didn't. But Utsuro's memory told me so when he tried to enter my brain."

There was an awkward silence, but a brief one as Yoruko added, "B-But still...you're here with us now, Yuki. Sora also had a breakdown of her own when she recovered her memories, but she's fine now." Sora didn't have the heart to tell her that she was less than 'fine,' but let her continue, "So you'll be fine too. Even if this is your last chance, the killing school trip is almost over anyways."

"Yoruko..." Yuki murmured, looking scared and hopeless.

Sora couldn't bear to see that look on him. "...She's right. Our bodies belong to us. And we'll safely escape from this place. With me being me, and you being you," she declared. She knew deep down that things would never be the same for her, who had recovered her memories, but she still chose to be the 'Sora' that had accumulated new memories and a new personality on this killing school trip.

"...When I fainted and I met Utsuro, even in my weakest state...I was able to get ahold of myself when I thought of you guys." Finally, the lucky student began to smile again. "Thank you, Sora, Yoruko. It's all thanks to you..."

"Yuki..." Sora smiled back, relieved that the initial danger was past. It would be stupid for her to think that this would be the end of this problem though, it was inevitable that the time of Utsuro's resurrection was close.

But she couldn't explain everything to Yuki yet. After all, both of them just had existential breakdowns, and they both needed a break before they went through another one. So for the moment, they decided to sit back and relax a bit.

"Hey, we haven't eaten any of the snacks yet," Sora noticed. In hindsight, it would have seemed weird if anyone was eating during this past half hour, but all of snacks Yuki had brought up were untouched on the table.

"Well, I call dibs on the chips," Yuki stated, quickly reaching out for a bag.

"That reminds me, we're all out of tea," Yoruko remarked and stood up from the couch. "I'll grab some drinks from the store below, maybe just some water."

The hostess exited the room quickly, leaving Sora and Yuki alone together. The silence was comforting this time as they two of them ate their snacks and did their best to recover from the shock of earlier.

"So, I can't exactly ask how you've been the past few days. I already have a feeling," Sora sighed. "I'm sorry for what happened at the tower."

"It's alright, I forgave you. You were trying to protect me, after all," Yuki replied, fidgeting with the chip bag in his hands. "Um, what should we do after we leave this island? Normal life won't be possible for us anymore at this rate."

"Well..." Sora paused, beginning to think about this question. "Now that I think about it, we both need rehabilitation. You're probably going to be able to live with the Kisaragi Foundation with Yoruko, I don't think the foundation would throw victims to live on the streets. But as for me..."

"You think you're going to be incarcerated, right? For what you've done as Akane Taira," Yuki finished. "But if you've apparently died, and you've only just regained your memories-"

"Everything's all confusing right now, I think I'll decide what'll happen next after we get out of here safely. It's pretty safe to say that not all of us are doing so hot. By the way, how's your neck?"

"Hm?"

"Your neck. You held a knife up to it last night, it might have cut you," Sora pointed out. "I'm pretty sure there's a first aid kit in the room somewhere."

"O-Oh... If that's the case, is it alright if I use it?" The lucky student seemed embarrassed as he made his request, but Sora quickly found the first aid kit in the bathroom and brought it to him.

After he opened the kit, Yuki rolled up the sleeves of his shirt. His skin was covered in scarred-over cuts, some newer than others. Sora watched in alarm while Yuki tried to wrap a bandage roll around his arm, but the task was difficult when he had only one hand available to wrap it.

"Here, let me," Sora told him as she took the roll of bandages from him, and she began wrapping the roll around his arm, skillfully making sure that the bandages wouldn't be tight. "I guess a benefit of my memories as Akane Taira is that I know how to fix things like this."

"...Don't tell Yoruko."

"I won't."

Sora gently smiled as she finished her wrapping and secured the bandage. Yuki rolled his sleeve back down, looking ashamed of himself. Unsure of how to comfort him, Sora grabbed a bag of candies from the table and handed them to him.

Yuki silently smiled back in gratitude and took the candies, and the two of them remained silent while eating together. After another minute, Yoruko finally returned to them room with a bunch of water bottles in her arms.

"Sorry I took so long! The elevator is slow as hell," the hostess apologized, putting the water bottles on the table.

"Don't worry," the white-haired girl assured, "you didn't miss anything at all."
