Recap: Vikram's suspects Priyanka's hurt in her hand.

*********************

Priyanka was taken aback by Vikram's words, as if he had begun to suspect the very incident she had reported to him.

"Priyanka, I asked you something. Did she really hurt you?" Vikram's voice was firm, his gaze piercing.

Priyanka clutched his hand, feigning fear. "She doesn't want us to be together, Vikram. That's why she did this to me." Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears. "Baby, I know you're angry with her, but I'm scared now. Please, don't leave me alone. You're the only one I have in this world."

Vikram sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Don't be silly. I'm not leaving you. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be alive today after my accident. You saved me, Priyanka. Not once but every time I was in danger. If you hadn't gotten me those confidential project papers, I would have lost crores in business. Whatever I am today, it's all because of you." He gently caressed her head. "Now, take some rest. I'll be back by night after my meetings."

Priyanka smiled sweetly. "Okay, Vikram. Take care. I'll miss you."

As soon as Vikram left, Sahana called Rakshat and recounted everything that had transpired. "I need you to dig deeper into Priyanka. I already know about her past, but I need to find out what she's up to now."

Rakshat's voice was calm yet firm. "Be careful, Sahana. I'll get my best detective on it."

Meanwhile, Sahana, feeling drained and unsettled, decided to rest.

On his way to the office, Vikram suddenly realized he had forgotten an important file at home. Turning the car around, he drove back to the mansion. As he stepped inside and grabbed the file from his study, a burst of laughter from Priyanka's room made him pause. His brow furrowed as he quietly approached her door.

"Darling, I'm so happy," Priyanka giggled. "Everything is going exactly as planned."

"Tell me what happened," a male voice responded.

"I fooled that idiot into believing me again," she boasted. "Just a few more days, and our plan will be executed."

"I have no worries when I have you taking care of everything."

"Don't worry, baby," Priyanka purred. "Just think about celebrating. I'll meet you soon."

"What if Vikram finds out you're not home?"

"He won't. He's busy with his meetings, and even if he returns, I can handle him. That fool believes everything I say."

Vikram stood frozen outside the door, his world shattering piece by piece. His chest heaved, fists clenched in fury. But instead of confronting her, he walked away silently, leaving no trace of his presence. He needed time to process this betrayal.

Priyanka, unaware that her deceit had been uncovered, twirled around in excitement, celebrating her supposed victory before heading out to meet her accomplice.

Meanwhile, Vikram, unable to focus on work, canceled his meetings and drove to a bar to drown out the storm brewing in his mind. But fate had other plans. Just as he stepped inside, he caught sight of Priyanka entering the same hotel. His heart clenched. He watched as she confidently made her way to a VIP suite, Suite 555.

Disgusted, he turned on his heel and drove back to his mansion.

Entering his room, his gaze fell on Sahana. She was fast asleep, her face pale, her frame thinner than he remembered. There was no glow in her eyes, no vibrance in her presence. She looked exhausted, worn out by the weight of everything she had endured. A pang of guilt stabbed at his heart. He couldn't bear to see her like this.

Determined, he strode to his study and dialed his PA. "I've texted you a person's details. I need a complete history on her."

His PA responded promptly. "Yes, sir. I'll get on it immediately."

"I need it by tomorrow, no matter what." His voice was steel. "Call me the moment you get the details."

"Yes, sir."

But the weight of betrayal was too heavy to bear. Vikram needed an escape, so he drove to another bar, hoping alcohol would numb his thoughts. However, he was met with yet another shock.

Rakshat was there, retrieving information from his detective. His expression turned grim as he skimmed through the reports. He clenched his fists, barely able to contain his rage. Just as he was about to leave, his gaze landed on Vikram.

Without a second thought, he stormed towards him. "Are you happy now, Mr. Vikram?"

Vikram looked up, his eyes dark and tired. "What do you want? Get lost. I'm not in the mood for your nonsense."

Rakshat scoffed. "Of course, you won't hear anything now. You're drowning in your so-called love, too blind to see the truth."

"Shut up!" Vikram snapped. "Just leave me alone."

But Rakshat had had enough. Grabbing Vikram by the collar, he pulled him closer. "How dare you raise your voice at me?" His voice was filled with rage. "If it weren't for Sahana stopping me, I would've killed you for what you put her through."

Vikram shoved his hands away. "Watch your words, Rakshat. She deceived me into marrying her."

Rakshat let out a bitter laugh. "In this whole world, you won't find a purer soul than Sahana. She loved you unconditionally, sacrificed for you without expecting anything in return. She saved you time and again, and this is how you repay her?"

He pulled out a folder and shoved it into Vikram's hands. "Here. Enjoy reading it." Without another word, he walked away, leaving Vikram alone with the truth.

Vikram's hands trembled as he opened the file. His eyes scanned the pages, his heartbeat pounding in his ears. As the truth unraveled before him, his blood boiled with rage. His grip tightened, crumpling the edges of the paper.

He had been played. Betrayed. And now, he couldn't ignore it anymore.
