Chapter 54

Recap: Vishwanath's men put explosives in Vikram's factory.

Vishwanath's men had already placed the explosives inside Vikram's factory, hiding them in such a way that no one would suspect. At the same time, the prison's senior officers completed their inspection rounds.

By evening, Vishwanath's lawyer stepped into Akash's cell.

"What's the plan?" Akash asked immediately.

"Sir, tomorrow night you will be taken out of the prison," the lawyer explained. "The SP will send the jailor to help you leave. You'll be given clothes to change into and a mask to cover your face. I'll be waiting nearby. The SP's man will bring you to me."

"Where are we going from here?" Akash pressed.

"Your father has told me to take you to his OMR factory," the lawyer said. "On Saturday night, he's made arrangements for you to leave the country via sea route."

"Why should I leave the country? I want to stay here. I need my revenge from that Vikram."

"Sir, don't worry. Your father has already taken steps to do that. Before you leave, you'll see the good news."

"I'll speak with Dad anyway. I don't want to leave now." Akash declared. 

"Tomorrow you can speak with Vishwanath sir." the lawyer replied. 

Friday night – Prison

The SP himself came to see Akash.

"Akash, you can wear this dress," the SP said, handing him the uniform. "There will be a power cut for ten minutes. I'll send my man to take you out. Remember to sneak out without making a sound. There should be no suspicion from anyone. One hour from now, you'll start moving."

"Got it," Akash nodded.

The SP left. Exactly one hour later, the power went out. Within two minutes, Akash had changed into the constable's uniform. A man dressed as a constable arrived, quickly leading him out after replacing him with another person in the cell. They walked briskly and, within minutes, Akash was sitting in a car just outside the prison. His lawyer was waiting inside.

"Okay, let's leave," the lawyer said as Akash got in.

"Hmm. Let's go home. I want to speak to Dad," Akash said.

"Sir... sorry, but your father wants you to stay in the factory tonight." the lawyer replied.

"Take me to my farmhouse and don't inform Dad. Tomorrow I'll meet him at the factory." Akash declared. 

"But sir—" The lawyer but Akash gave a firm glare.

"Do what I say. I have an important work to do. I can't inform Dad right now. So take me to the farmhouse. Tomorrow morning I'll reach the factory and meet him."

"...Okay sir, as you say. But make sure nobody sees you."

"Alright, I'll take care of it."

That night, Akash stayed in his farmhouse and called a few of his most trusted men. They spent hours discussing his revenge plans.

Vikram Mansion – Morning

The house woke to a peaceful morning. Over breakfast, Pranitha turned to the others.

"Sana, Kayal, get ready soon. We'll leave for shopping," she said with a smile.

"Are you sure you want to go without us?" Vikram asked.
