Recap: Doctor said Sana would have her labor anytime in a week.

Vikram was restless. Though he tried his best to mask his anxiety, his mind kept imagining the pain Sana would have to endure during childbirth. But he never showed his worry, fearing it might affect her. On the other hand, Sana remained calm even as the due date approached. Her composure surprised him.
"Sana baby, aren't you scared of the delivery?" Vikram asked, watching her with concern.
She smiled. "Why should I be? After all, I can't wait to hold our little bundle of joy in my arms. Yes, it will hurt, but just imagine the moment our baby enters our world of love... I can't even put it into words. By the way, are you scared, Vikky?"
Vikram cleared his throat. "No... of course not. Why would I be?"
Sana chuckled. "Of course, you aren't. I can see it in your eyes."
"Fine," he admitted, shaking his head. "Now tell me, do you want me to accompany you in the labor room?"
Sana shook her head. "A big no."
"Why?"
"Vikky, I know you. When it comes to me, you can't console or convince yourself when I'm in pain. It's better you stay out."
"No, sunshine," Vikram protested. "I'll behave. I'll try to stay calm."
"Let's decide at that moment," she said, squeezing his hand. "Don't worry now."
The morning was pleasant, but Sana felt unusually lazy and uncomfortable. She didn't want to move. Vikram noticed her unease and carried her to the washroom, helping her settle in a warm bath. She felt a little better. After refreshing, he carried her to the living room for breakfast.
Amudha, Vikram's mother, served Sana food and immediately noticed a change in her expression.
"Vikram, we should take Sana to the hospital. Let's not wait for her to be in pain. It's better to stay there a day in advance."
"Even I thought of that, Mom," Vikram agreed. "I'll inform the doctor."
Amudha turned to Sana. "Do you feel any difference?"
"I don't feel any pain, but I do feel... different," Sana admitted.
Amudha nodded. "I think she will go into labor today or tomorrow."
Vikram immediately dialed the doctor. Just as he was about to call, his phone rang. It was the chief doctor from the hospital.
"Yes, doctor, I was about to call you," Vikram said, answering quickly.
"Sir, the gynecologist suggests bringing Sana in today since she's due in two days."
"I was thinking the same. Okay, get things ready. We'll be there in two hours."
"Sure, sir."
Vikram turned to his mother. "The doctor also wants Sana admitted today. Let's get ready."
Amudha nodded. "I'll prepare food before we leave. Pugazh, call Sana's father and inform him."
Pugazh relayed the message, while Vikram and Sana spent a quiet moment in their room. He pulled her into a hug.
"Hey wifey, don't worry. I'm going to be by your side the whole time, okay?"
"Hmm... okay," Sana murmured.
"We're going to return home with our princess," he whispered.
She smiled. "Hmm, yes, hubby."
Vikram frowned. "Why are you so quiet? Is something bothering you?"
