Recap: Vikram and Sana had a romantic memorable night.
********************
Vikram and Sana stirred awake from their afternoon nap, feeling refreshed. Wrapped in their soft bathrobes, the result of their earlier attempt at "saving water," they moved around the room lazily. Sana was about to head toward the closet to change when Vikram reached out, gently stopping her.
"Wait," he said, handing her a bag. "Wear this."
Sana glanced at him, curiosity flickering in her eyes. Without questioning further, she took the bag and stepped into the closet. Meanwhile, Vikram changed into his outfit in the room, waiting for her.
A few minutes later, Sana stepped out, draped in the exquisite purple silk saree he had chosen for her. The fabric shimmered under the soft lighting, its embellished blouse hugging her frame perfectly. As she adjusted the pleats of her saree, Vikram turned toward her—and froze.
His breath hitched.
His eyes roamed over her, drinking in every detail—the way the saree accentuated her curves, the smooth expanse of her bare waist, the way her free-flowing hair swayed with each movement. She was a vision, a goddess standing before him.
Sana raised a perfectly arched brow, silently questioning his intense stare. But Vikram remained rooted, unable to utter a single word.
Rolling her eyes, she waved a hand in front of his face. "Vikky?"
That snapped him out of his trance. He scratched his eyebrow with a sheepish grin before winking at her.
Sana chuckled softly and walked over to the dresser. Sitting down, she carefully lined her eyes with kohl, adding depth to her already expressive gaze. She dabbed a nude shade onto her lips, wincing slightly as she pressed them together—still swollen from the previous night's relentless kisses. Her hand hovered over the concealer, ready to hide the marks dotting her skin, reminders of Vikram's passion.
Behind her, Vikram remained unmoving, watching her like a man possessed. He couldn't take his eyes off her.
The restraint he had been holding onto finally snapped. He strode toward her in swift, determined steps, wrapping his arms around her from behind. His lips found the curve of her neck, pressing against the warm skin, inhaling the faint scent of roses mixed with sandalwood.
Sana tensed slightly before melting into his embrace, biting her lower lip to suppress a moan as he sucked gently on her skin.
"Vikky..." she whispered breathlessly.
Without a word, he took her left hand and, in one smooth motion, slid a ring onto her delicate finger.
Sana blinked, staring at the ring now adorning her hand. Her lips parted in shock.
The Blue Moon Diamond. The world's most expensive diamond. A ring worth nearly fifty million dollars. Her heart pounded.
She turned to face him, her eyes wide in disbelief. "Am... Am I dreaming?"
Vikram chuckled. "Nope. You're very much awake, sweetheart."
She shook her head, still stunned. "You... you got this for me?"
"Don't you like it, wifey?" he asked, tilting his head with a teasing smirk.
"God, no, Vikky!" she gasped. "I love it! But... why would you spend so much? You know I don't care about expensive things. You being with me is more than enough."
Vikram cupped her cheek, his thumb grazing her skin tenderly. "I know, my love. That's exactly why I got it for you. My queen deserves the best in this world. And this?" He lifted her hand, pressing a kiss to the ring. "This is just a small token from your poor husband."
