CHAPTER 4

Recap!

I opened the front gate and looked around. Phew....No one is around.I started walking towards my room when someone yelled behind me.

"WHERE WERE YOU?"David yelled.I turned around and saw David with a drink in his hand.Uh..oh I was in trouble.

ALAINA'S POV

"Where the Fuck were you?"David yelled again.I stood there shaking.I didn't reply.I can't tell him about Adam."YOU SLUT YOU WERE WITH A GUY WEREN'T YOU?"He shouted."N-no sir"I stuttered.

He grabbed my hair and dragged me towards my bedroom.I was screaming from pain.He threw me on the floor and shut the door behind him.He hold my t-shirt and threw me towards the wall.His hands were gripped around my wrist tightly.

"You lying Bitch.You are Mine."He kissed my neck with every kiss he murmured "You're Mine."He forcefully kissed my lips.His grip tightened on my wrist.That's definitely going to leave a bruise.

He let go of my hands and took a step back. He punched my face 5 times and kicked my stomach."You're mine Remember that or I will do worst next time"He whisper-yelled in my ear and then left.

I tried to get up but every attempt end up in more pain.Moments later I managed to stand up and drag my body toward the bathroom.I felt very disgusted so I decided to take a shower.

As I stepped into the hot water the cuts and bruises burned on my body.I decided to ignore pain as I stood under the shower with no thoughts and a blank expression.Soon the pain died and I stepped out of the shower.

I put on my green baggy t-shirt and dark brown leggings.I groaned and walked out of the bathroom.I fell on my bed and soon sleep took over me.

It was currently 3:30 in afternoon.I left for work 15 minutes ago.And I was late.Soon I reached the Cafe.It looked very different according to the surroundings as it was made only 5 years ago.It soon became popular because it's coffee and pancakes are heavenly.It's other food are delicious too.

I walked inside the cafe.It's interior was a bit antique.

"Alaina."Mrs Brooke called.Mrs Brooke is a middle-age lady.She is very sweet and Kind.She is also owner of Bloom cafe.She is very supportive of me. And I love her.

"Mrs Brooke!Sorry I am late,I fell asleep."I said with a smile on my face."Oh no worry dear."She came and hugged me."Aria and Reese are waiting I the kitchen.Go put on an Apron and help me with some orders."she said.I nodded in response and made my way to the kitchen.

"Ali.How are you?"Reese came and hugged me.While Aria was busy with her yet another masterpiece.She is an amazing cook.Both Reese and Aria are my friends but they don't go to school with me.

"Shhh...Be quiet.I Am working."Aria hissed.A Smile appeared on my face while Reese was grinning."And it's done."Aria said.She is very serious about her cooking.If anyone disturbs her whilst cooking she will go full rogue.But deep inside she is caring and lovable person whereas Reese is a Dork.He is funny and sweet.

"Ali.Go take order of Table no.5"Mrs Brooke shouted from the counter.I quickly put on the apron and made my way to Table 5.I was still trying to fix my apron so I did not notice anyone around me.

"Hi!What can I get You."I asked Still looking at my notepad.I am very shy and I am not able to make eye contact with anyone."Hey!"Wait I recognize this voice.My head snapped upwards and My eyes met Adam.
What is he doing here?I mean I know half of the school hangs out here but I have never met him."I didn't know you work here?"He asked.I gave him a tight smile."I-Umm.I-It's a part time Job."I stuttered."Oh!This is Kenzie and Jace.My two friends."He stated pointing in their direction.I looked around the table and saw a boy and a girl sitting beside each other and deep in conversation.

"Hi!"The both said together and resumed their conversation.Jace was 6ft tall.He had brown eyes and brown hair. He was very handsome but not as much as Adam.Wait what Seriously!?And Kenzie had brown hair and green eyes.She was beautiful.She was wearing a white top and black high jeans.

I snapped out of my thoughts."uh..What would you like?"I asked looking down at my notepad.They all state their orders.I went inside and gave their orders to Aria.

Rest of the day went usual.It was currently 8 in evening and David's word still echoed through my ears."you're Mine."A tear slipped through my eyes.why is My life so damn messed up.

I was walking toward's My house when a car came to halt beside me.It was dark so I didn't notice who it was.I was scared so I kept walking.

"Need a ride?"A voice came and I froze.
