ADAM'S POV
I would be lying, when I tell you that I didn't have fun that day during park. Alaina and I have gotten very close after she started tutoring me and I am slightly attracted to her but she is avoiding me since the park. Whenever I try talking to her she gives me an excuse and ran off. I think she is upset about something. I have to confront her.
I was walking towards the cafeteria when I saw Veronica and two of her Minions Beatrice and Riana, I think, walking towards me. I don't need this shit right now, I have to find Alaina.
"Adam! How are you?" She practically threw herself on me. Here we go....
"I am fine and I have to go!" I deadpanned. "Where?" she scoffed. "I have to go and talk to Alaina." I murmured.
"Alaina?!Come on I can do better than that Bitch. I can give you anything you want." She smiled seductively at me. How dare she talk about her like that? "you should leave." I said in dangerously calm voice. She glared at me and then swayed her way out of here.
I walked towards the cafeteria. I immediately spotted her Hazel eyes. She was laughing with Kenzie and Jace. Her smile is so beautiful.
I walked over to the table."Hey Dude!" Jace was still grinning from previous conversation. "Hey!" I looked over at Alaina. She was playing with her food.
"Al,can I talk to you for a minute?"I nervously asked.She hesitated for a second.Yup Definitely avoiding me!
"Yeah, sure." She grabbed her bag and followed me outside the cafeteria. As soon as we were out I grabbed her hand and dragged her to the nearest classroom. She put her backpack on one of the bench.
"Are you angry with me?" She asked innocently staring at the floor. "Why are you avoiding me?" I asked.
"I am not avoiding you." She said shyly.
I tilted her chin up with my index finger. Her hazel eyes bore into mine. " Are you lying to me?"
"I am not" She sighed
We just stood there staring at each other. I didn't realise the distance between us was very little. My eyes gazing towards her lips. I leaned forward a little just imagining what would it be like to kiss her.
Suddenly the bell rang ruining our moment. OH NO! She grabbed her backpack and started rushing out of the door.
"Al, I am sorry"
"It's okay" She gave me a tight smile and ran out of the classroom. I fucked up again. She probably doesn't want to talk to me now. I groaned and went to my next class.
