CHAPTER 15

ADAM'S POV

After we ate breakfast Jace went to check a shipment,Kenzie went to drop Allie at a friend's house and Riley went her home to check some stuff.

Alaina was sleeping upstairs after taking a shower and I was sitting on the couch scrolling through Instagram.

*Thud*

Suddenly I heard a loud crash from upstairs.I ran upstairs as soon as I can.I kicked open the bedroom door where Alaina was sleeping.

She was having a nightmare.She was moving all around the bed.That is why she accidentally knocked over the bedside lamp and hurt her knuckles.Her hand was all torn up.

"Pl-please."She begged in her sleep."I-Im sorry."Tears were rolling down her eyes by know.

Her hands were wrapped around her neck like someone was trying to choke her in her nightmare.

I walked over her bed and sat beside her."Alaina."I called her.I tried to remove her hands from her neck but the grip was very tight."Al!come on wake up."I called out her names few times.

In seconds she shot up from her bed.She looked around until she saw me.I slid near her and wrapped my arms around her body.

She was shaking and sobbing in my arms."It's just a nightmare.Shh..Al It's okay,You're okay."I tried to calm her down.

In minutes she calmed down. Her eyes were red and Puffy.She gave me a small smile trying to assure me that she was okay.

I grabbed her palm and examined the cut on her hand.It didn't need stitches that's good.

I looked over at her neck and there was a bruise forming on it."You will think I am crazy."She let out a awkward chuckle while rubbing her neck.

"No you are not!Never say that again."I exclaimed.She let out a small laugh."Come on let's clean this up."I said and pulled her towards the bathroom.

I grabbed her waist and helped her sit on counter.I stood between her thighs after finding first aid kit.She hold her hand out for me to clean It up."This might sting."I said as I cleaned her wound.She groaned and put her head on my shoulders as soon as liquid made contact with her wound.

While I bandaged her wound carefully she examined my face.As soon as I looked up her gorgeous hazel eyes locked with mine."Are you okay?"I asked still gazing her."hmm."She said without breaking her eye contact.

My eyes wander towards her lips.I wanted to kiss her so badly.She parted her lips.I leaned a little forward and my lips were brushing her's.

What if I ruined her friendship by kissing her?But I want her so badly.Fuck it!

I smashed my lips at her.It took a second for her than she started kissing me back .Our lips moved in perfect rhythm.She placed her hands around my neck,deepening the kiss.

I moved my hand to her lower back.I broke our kiss for a second than I kissed her lips again this time a little harshly. She moved her hands on my shoulders.

Suddenly the doorbell ring.Not now.Why do people always ruin our moment?I broke our kiss.Our lips were swollen and bright red.Her hair was messy.She ran her hands through her hair trying to fix it.

I went downstairs groaning.I opened the gate revealing Riley standing there."Where is Ali?"She asked."Upstairs."I replied.

"I am taking her home."She said bluntly."Why?"I asked."Because you have to do your work and my brother is coming home tomorrow."She said.

Riley knows we all are gang leader.We were discussing about a shipment on our phone
When she overheard us.She thought we were murders when we screamed at them that we will kill them for not paying on time.

We have to explain everything after that. Somehow we build her trust that we won't harm her and her sister.

"So?"I asked."So my family shouldn't know what happen to her."She said and made her way to upstairs.Why?

Few minutes later they came downstairs.I gave Al some ice to put around her neck.I wanted to talk to her about the kiss but Riley dragged her out of the house.She gave me a smile before leaving.Which left me grinning like a idiot.

It's a good thing that she wasn't upset about the kiss.Right?Now I want to kiss her again. FUCK!
