ALAINA'S POV
My whole world is spinning right now.I never thought the guy I like and my only friends are a fucking gang members.
I plugged in my earphones so that I can't hear David and that girl having loud sex. David didn't even notice I was gone for almost 2 hours.
*AN HOUR EARLIER*
"I am a gang leader." Adam said before I could finish.
What?!"Huh?"I asked still couldn't believing my ears."We should sit down!"He said and pointed towards the bench under the tree.
I nodded my head."My mother died after 3 years Allie was born and My father left when he found out my Mom was pregnant with me. The three of us were very close so her death broke me.After a month she died I started searching for a Job to clear our expenses.Finally when I got the Job The pay wasn't very much."He said trying to hold back tears.
"Adam you don't have to explain it to me!"I said as a tear fell down my eyes."But I want to."He said.
"I formed a gang to take care of Allie.That's when I met Jace.We really hit it off so now he is my right in command and best friend.A year later he introduced me to Kenzie.She was new in our school so we took her in.Later she found out about our work so she decided to help us in little things.
Soon we became the most powerful gang in hill woods.We deal drug's all around the country.I h-have also killed some people."He Concluded.
Honestly I Don't know what to say!I am also keeping a secret from him which I still don't know how to say.But he killed some people!
"Al,say something."Adam muttered."Do you hate me?"He asked.
"Of course not!"I said clearing my thought."I just need some little time."I lied.I am perfectly okay with him being a gang leader or Kenzie and Jace being in gang.
"I will give you time but please don't take forever!"He said.I chuckled in response.
"I will see you at school."He said leaning forward and kissing my cheeks."Bye Adam."I said and walked towards my house.
When I reached home David was still having sex.I Grabbed some snacks and went towards my bedroom.
I still can't believe Adam trust me enough to tell me his secret.Why can't I tell him about mine?Maybe he will the one to save me from David and Emily.
I groaned and lay down on my bed.I plugged in the earphones and started humming to the music.Clearing all my thoughts.
My phone rang and I looked at the caller ID it was Riley.
"Hey"I said answering the phone.
"So you know he is a gang leader."Riley declare.
"Wait how do you know this about him?"I questioned.
"I overheard a conservation on a phone."She cleared her throat.
"Oh!"
"You should tell him Al!He trusted you with his secret."
"I know I was just debating on telling him soon."
"Even if you don't tell him he will find out one way another."
"Please don't tell him.I am the one who is going to do this."
"It's not my secret to tell.But to protect you I am going to tell him if you don't."
"I will tell him soon.I promise."
"Okay!Bye!"she said and hung up.
I will tell him tomorrow and let him in.He deserves to know!
