She opened the door and as expected it was open. It felt so weird entering the house which was once her after what actually happened. She found her grandmother sitting in the living room talking to her mother.
She walked as if her whole life has been sucked out of her body. Her mother stood up watching her coming inside followed by her grandmother.
Her mother held her fearing that she would fall down the next moment helping her reach the sofa.
"Kimi, What happened?", her mother asked her shaking her a little.
"What happened Kimaya?", Her grandmother asked and the next moment her father came out of his room hearing all the commotion.
"Suniye, see na she is not saying anything. Her eyes are all swollen. I am feeling very uneasy please you speak to her", Her mother told her father reaching him quickly with tears falling down her eyes.
Her father reached her feeling a different pain in his heart.
"What happened?", he asked holding her hand as she looked at him with lifeless eyes.
"Every karma is having its own result. What you did I am paying for it?", Kimaya spoke with a sad smile.
"What happened Kimaya? Please say something?", Her mother told her with teary eyes.
"He pushed me out of his house. He said he never wants to see my face. That I don't deserve anything in the world. He said he hates the moment when he fell in love with me", Kimaya spoke with tears falling down her eyes but the smile was still present there.
"Where did his love go now? That madness and craziness for you. That day he was shouting around the world telling how much he loves you now what happened", her father asked her not able to see the pain in his daughter's eyes.
"Mumma, you married me so that Papa would not raise a finger on my character now my own husband did that. Now what?", Kimaya asked her mother choking on a sob.
"Don't cry, Bacha. I will talk to him", Her mother started when Kimaya showed her palm to her.
"No need. Nobody is going to talk to that person. In the starting, I always told him that his home is not mine. My home is in Delhi and he always told me that a girl's home is where her husband is staying and now he pushed me from that place only", Kimaya said laughing humorlessly.
"You know Mumma. He held this arm of mine and pushed me out not caring if I hurt myself or not. He loves me that much", She continued pointing at her right elbow.
"I will talk to him. How can he behave like that? He claimed that he loves you", Her father told her as she smiled before staring into his eyes.
"That love disappeared. Now he would develop for somebody else after leaving me but no worry I was ready for all these things. I never fell in love with him. I don't feel anything for him", She spoke not realizing that she was sobbing right now.
"But Kimi...", Her mother started when she shook her head.
"Mumma, if you can't let your daughter stay with you then tell me already. I would search for another home for myself. I am not helpless you see", Kimaya spoke in a weak voice.
"What are you saying Kimaya? You have your whole family with you. You aren't alone I would talk to him and let him know the same", Her father said and was about to stand when she held his hand.
"Papa, don't behave like you never did this with Mumma. What if this is all a result of your wrongdoings? What if I am paying for what you did?", Kimaya said making him freeze at his place.
"But remember one thing I am your daughter. I am not one to return back in that house. I would never go back to that house not till the time he would come here and plead for forgiveness", Kimaya said wiping her tears, a new determination on her face.
"This is not how relationships are carried on. If we didn't talk to him, it would only make him think that what he thought was right", Her grandmother said.
"So", Kimaya said in a stern voice making everybody look at her. She sat on her knees in front of her grandmother.
"Dadi, he threw me out of his house. Everybody was there. Every single family member. They asked him to stop but he didn't then why would I care because he is a man or because I am a woman and it would harm my respect in society. I don't care. My god knows how much pure I am. I don't need to prove anything to anyone", Kimaya said looking deadly in her grandmother's eyes.
She picked up her mother's phone before walking inside her room closing it with a bang.
"Mummy Ji, she is angry. She would take a wrong decision in her anger", Her mother spoke knocking on her door.
"How dare that man to behave like that with my daughter? We treated her like a flower and now that's how he treats her. She is right. I myself will not let her go even if he came here", Her father spoke before taking his car keys and walking out of the house in anger.
Kimaya called him for the last time wiping her tears.
"I am not going to listen to any justification", Randhir spoke angrily as she scoffed.
"And I am not up for any justification. You are no one to judge my character, it's my god, and whatever you did today he would make sure you pay for it. I am not talking about that here. I just called you to inform you to send the divorce paper as soon as possible and get your name removed from mine. I don't want to feel disgusted with my own name because of you", she spoke sternly.
"Divorce?", he asked as she smiled.
"I am characterless right than give me freedom", She spoke and hung up immediately.
She held her lower stomach with tears falling down her eyes. She would never let him know this. She wants to finish this marriage as soon as possible and move away from this place before he knows about this.
She doesn't want a future like her mother for herself. She is very much able to take care of both of them. She thought sitting on the bed with uncontrollable tears falling down her face.
She hated the moment she gave her trust to him. She hated every single moment she spend with him. She hated the moment when she fell for him.
