Haku walked out of the pet store, a big bag of dog food under one arm, and a grocery bag filled with other miscellaneous "necessities" for the dog. Ever since they sent off Briony, Kuragi had been acting weird. She'd spend hours coming up with some crazy plan for another target, just to discard the plan and be depressed the rest of the day. The only thing keeping her from going completely insane was this dog, but thanks to the dog, and Kuragi's current attitude Haku had been forced to run errands and do fetch quests ceaselessly. Haku longed for a break.... actually that didn't seem like that bad of an idea, they need to take a vacation. Kuragi could definitely use it, but where too.... An obligatory beach scene..... Nah, those are overused, while Haku did appreciate some good fan service, he didn't think that Kuragi would feel the same. Aha, he knew exactly where they should go, and he knew a couple of people who should join them.

" A lake......" Kuragi said as she looked around at the world beyond the chalk square Haku had drawn. When he came to her and told her they needed to take a vacation, she was skeptical about it at first, but that caused her to notice, she really did need to take a break. Behind her Jasper and Audrey stepped through the chalk square, both dressed as if they were headed to a beach. A couple seconds after Haku stumbled through the square carrying baskets, umbrellas, bags, and a portable grill presumably for a barbecue later.
Jasper took a good look around. " Over there, that's the best spot." He pointed to a spot on the opposite side of the lake, it had the perfect balance of light and shade, and enough space to set up the grill and umbrellas.
" Race you." Called Audrey as she decided to take the fastest way, straight through the water. Jasper followed shortly after leaving Kuragi and Haku alone on this side with all of the stuff.
" Here." Kuragi reached out her hand. " I'll help with some of it." Haku who was clearly struggling with it did not argue.

Kuragi reached the other side, Jasper and Audrey were both there already, Haku however was still only halfway around. Kuragi pulled out a couple folding chairs and a blanket and spread them out. " Oh Uhh... Sorry Audrey, Haku has the other chairs."
" That's ok, I'm going to go sit in the lake." Audrey grabbed an inner tube out of the bag, it blew up instantly with her touch. She ran and jumped back into the lake.
Jasper took a seat in one of the chairs, and Kuragi the other. " Don't mind her, she's been couped up for awhile, she's just excited to get some fresh non-junkyard air." Jasper commented.
" I see." This was the first time Kuragi had met Audrey, but she had heard Haku mention her here and there. " So why did you guys come. Did Haku force you guys?"
" No, it's nothing like that. When Audrey heard how much you were stressing Haku, She had to come."
" And you?"
" I have my own reasons..." He glanced out at the lake, particularly at a certain someone floating around in it. Kuragi understood, but decided not to pry. Haku was almost to them now. " I'll go help him, you should go enjoy the lake, there's another inner tube in the bag if you want."
" I think I just might." Kuragi responded. She reached into the bag and grabbed the other inner tube, which she dropped when it self-inflated. She picked it up and walked down to join Audrey in the water.

" Oi Haku." Jasper jogged up and grabbed some of the goods. They got back and began setting up the grill. " So explain this to me, this girl works you like a horse, stresses you with constant errands and mood swings. And in spite of all that, you take her here, and still do all the work and let her do all of the relaxing. I'm sensing something going on behind the scenes here."
" It's nothing like that, she's just helping me with my job. Plus, you're one to talk, I know the real reason you decided to, not only come, but also take a day off of work for the company."
" That obvious huh.." Jasper caught himself staring at the pair in the lake again, the were now splash fighting, Audrey was winning. Jasper looked back at Haku, and Haku at Jasper. " Well whatever, teach me how to grill food Haku."
" I don't know how to use a grill."
" Then why did you bring it?"
" I thought you would know how, you seem like a grill type of person."
" I generally use Magic items to cook..."
They awkwardly stood there for a bit, neither saying anything.
" I'll go get Kuragi, it's a human device maybe she knows." Haku reluctantly began his trip to the lake.

Audrey was alone in the lake again. Kuragi was interesting, but she didn't see what Haku saw in her. She looked over at the people on shore. None of them looked like they had a clue what they were doing. Why didn't Haku come to her to help, machinery was her specialty, she could've figured the grill out right away. Audrey started swimming back, then unexpectedly the world went dark around her.

Kuragi had never been camping before, she had never used a grill before. But the more she messed around with it trying to figure it out the hungrier and hungrier she became. Neither of these two gods were of any help. Eventually she just got frustrated and lit a fire in the bowl part of the grill and threw the hamburgers on a rack on top of it, Haku and Jasper were both impressed. Kuragi took a seat and looked out over the lake, it was peaceful here, a very nice distraction from everything. Something about the view was missing though, the lake was less chaotic then last she looked at it. Why was that... Her soaked shorts soon reminded her, Audrey, she didn't see Audrey in the lake anymore. " Hey Jasper, where did Audrey go?"
Jasper himself scanned the lake. " I don't know, maybe she's exploring." Jasper returned to the grill which he was now manning, showing no concern for his missing friend.
" Aren't you worried?"
" Nah she can handle herself."
Not more then five minutes later a giant fish leapt into the air, Audrey flew through the air and landed with a thud next to Kuragi. " That guy tried to eat me, but I'm going to ride him." She dashed back to the water with blinding speeds, and an epic battle commenced. Audrey with her speed outmaneuvered the fish, while the fish swung his head violently and unpredictably in an attempt to get Audrey back into it's mouth. Jasper joined in after a bit, but he had other plans for the fish, now that he knew how to use the grill he was gonna grill up some fish to eat.
" Haku...."
" Yes Kuragi."
" Where are we?"
" Zenith lake, a lake on the world we are saving."
Kuragi sighed as she watched the two gods fight the fish the size of her apartment. " Why here of all places?"
" It's the best lake I know, plus there's no way any other people would be here, so we have the lake all to ourselves."
Kuragi grabbed a burger from the grill, she sat down and watched the battle with the fish. Watching these two in action it was hard to believe Haku was really one of them. Her burger was charred and did not taste good, but at least she could say she enjoyed her day here.

Later they did bring up and cook the fish. Everyone enjoyed the fish, but they had to much so they dropped of the rest at a nearby human village that thanked them heartily.
