The stage was dark, the audience silent with anticipation. One by one the stage lights turned on, each one doing a circle across the audience before focusing on a different part of the stage. The audience oooohed and aaahhhed as different parts of the track were brought into the light. Assortments of large ramps rings of fire, and one giant leap over a pit of sharpened swords stretching all the way across the stage. All of the lights then moved to focus on the start of the track where a lone man sat on a bicycle. His name appeared on the screen in big fiery letters, the whole audience cheered at the name "David Harlison". This was David's favorite part, the audience's cheers, the focus on him, all of it boosting his confidence, getting him ready for the big show.

As a kid David lived in a small village, one that rarely had visitors from outside the village. So it wasn't shocking that David was immediately enthralled with a traveling circus that passed through their town. The circus amazed him with all of the jugglers, clowns, beast tamers, and David's favorite the stuntmen. When the local orc tribe decided to wipe out David's village for no particular reason, a select few, David included, were rescued from that world and brought to live with a man who proclaimed himself to be a god. David didn't like the arrangement all that much, but it is where he was given the opportunity to learn performing arts. He was also granted a secret blessing from that god, it protected him from danger, allowing him to do as dangerous and risky stunts as he wanted without any accidents. After a few ridiculous stunts he quickly gained in popularity, and now he was able to fill the audience stands at every show he attended, including tonight. Tonight he was halfway through his North American tour, in the state of South Dakota performing right beneath the four faces of Mount Rushmore. He stood up on his bike seat to wave at the audience as he made his way down his first ramp, he could feel the bike wiggling beneath him, but he knew it wouldn't fall over. The rest of the track went smooth, the audience was entranced at every turn. All that was left now was the jump across the stage over the swords.

"You want to do what now?" Jasper stared at Haku and Kuragi who had just came into his office with a crazy request.
"We want to borrow one of your people. One of the ones you sent to earth." Kuragi replied matter of factly.
"Ok I follow so far, but the next part."
"We will bring them to the other world to help us fight the demon lord." Kuragi continued.
"Right... And in order to do that..."
"We need to hit them with a truck."added Haku
"Ok now I'm lost.... Why...???"
"It's a long story." Replied Kuragi
"Not really.." Mused Haku. "We just wanna Isekai them, like in anime."
"Ahh makes sense." Jasper said as if that clarified everything. Kuragi had forgotten that although Jasper was all proper and responsible and stuff, he was still Haku's friend. "Here I actually keep a list of the ones I send here, it's so I can keep an eye on them, and make sure they aren't abusing their gifts." He pulled out a stack of papers, each one with names written in very small font, there must've been about fifty names on each page. He grabbed the top sheet and handed it to Kuragi. "There you go"
"What about the rest of those?" Kuragi asked.
"Oh I've been doing this for years, many years I mean much longer then a human lifespan. These are people who no longer exist down there anymore."
"I see." Kuragi began looking over the list, almost all of the names seemed familiar to her. There were famous actors, Doctors, musicians.
"What about this one." Haku pointed to one on the list that Had professional gamer written next to it.
"Vetoed." Kuragi responded.
"Well then what about him." This time it said professional stuntman.
"I don't know...."
"Oh is that David, he's actually doing a show right now, I had meant to tune in and watch. Here you guys should take a look too, he's really cool." Jasper grabbed a remote and a screen was brought to life in between him and, Kuragi and Haku. The name she had just saw on the paper was there in large flaming letters.

David raised his arms in the air, and got the audience to count down with him.

Then the audience went silent.
David began pedaling as fast as he could, while it was true he wouldn't get in an accident resulting in his injury, he could still blow the trick. That's what he was worried about right now, he hadn't practiced this trick all that much. He hit the ramp at full speed and went flying into the air, he did a quick front flip before preparing for the landing. He stood up on the seat balancing precariously in the air. His bike got to the other side, but it just barely wasn't high enough, but that's where the cool part of the trick happened. As soon as the bike made contact with the other side, David stepped off just like he was walking on flat ground. His bike crashed into the wall and fell into the swords below. The audience began cheering louder then ever before. David gave the audience a celebratory bow.

"Yes.... It has to be him." Haku said pointing to the screen.
"One second, this David fellow, you did more then just teach him to be a stuntman. There's some other force at play here?" Kuragi, ever analytical asked.
"That is correct, I don't know how to stuntman, doctoring, technology, all of that is easy to teach, but I took some creative liberties with David, he's accident-proof right now." Jasper responded.
"That's a problem." Kuragi realized.
"Why's that." Haku was a bit slower on the uptake.
"If he's accident proof how are we supposed to hit him with the truck." Kuragi pointed out.
"Well I can disable it, buuutt..." Jasper said.
"But if we aren't the first accident to happen to him it won't matter." Kuragi finished his sentence.
"I've got an idea this time." Haku had a smirk on his face as he spoke. He took some time to explain his plan to the other two, who for once actually agreed to go along with it.

"Hey David." One of his crew members approached him after the show. "You got a letter from someone who called themselves your benefactor, I think the name was Jasper."
"Thanks Rick." David grabbed the letter and opened it, the contents shocked him a bit:

Hey David,
This is Jasper, it's been awhile. I saw your show just now, it was pretty amazing. I actually am with a friend now who is a huge fan of you. I was actually wondering if you wouldn't mind coming to the godly realm to do a show for him. Of course we will get everything set up for you before you come. How does two days on the 8th sound.
Signed
Jasper

The first time this god reached out to him since he got here in the human world and he wants a favor, what an arrogant person. David couldn't say no though, if he lost the god's favor, he could lose his divine protection.
