Her eyes were puffy from crying,

She didn't even see the point to keep trying.

To take away the troubles, she cannot even prey,

For her whole world has turned into grey.

He always wore a stupid disguise,

That made her just fall for the lies.

He gave her comfort and peace,

But how has her broken into a piece.

His apologies are worth nothing now to her,

That much, she is sure.

Her body too weak to move, mind too messy to think,

She sees his face every time she blinks.

Pain doesn't even describe how she feels,

His love was the type that steals.

How could she move forward when he held her back?

Empathy was something that he seemed to lack.

She wanted to go so much higher,

But she kept remembering the liar.

Now in her body there is an empty space,

Where her heart once was in place.

"I can't let go. It's all I have left."
