Him

You were the one that let go,
Of my hands like melted snow.

If only I hadn't been so slow,
I would still see your radiant glow.

Oh how stupid of me,
To let go of your glee.

And to see you run,
To your new hun'

Maybe to you I was just a fling,
But to me it meant something.

But thrown away like a ball,
Not really cared for at all.

With a smile you broke my heart,
Something you knew from the start.

All these memories that we shared,
Was I the only one that cared?

So here I am trying to move on,
But you are really gone.

Gone to him so big and bright,
Like a star through the night.
