Her heart was a barren wasteland, so cold and frozen over nothing grew.
She wandered around pointless, looking for something new.
Then He appeared, shivering from his own cold and frustration,
She couldn't help but notice that her heart had been shaken.
And in the cold wasteland that was her heart, a single flower began to sprout.
The two grew closer and closer, their hearts warming, ending the drought.
He was afraid, She was ready to take the leap,
And that's when the warmth began to sleep,
The frost spreading across their hearts once more,
As She began to kill the flowers, as She began to ignore.
But He wouldn't let her go, He had to run the mile.
And as he reached for her, they both began to smile.
