Hope

I wonder if I should show these to you,

All of my deep feelings true.

If it could change anything,

To show you it wasn't just a fling.

I know you have someone new,

All those memories just flew,

With you when you walked away.

I guess I should just say,

That I'm still crazy into you

As your smile gets me out of the blue.

And your laughter brights up my day,

Like a golden ray.

I won't accept the fact that my words can't change a thing.

The thought of you seems to cling,

Onto my mind all the time.

Sure I'm worth a dime,

And you'd probably tell me nope,

I will always have a shred of hope

For us.
