Without You

As I can finally say I turned the tide,

I still want to be by your side.

When I finally escape your grasp,

I feel the tightened clasp.

You drag me in once more,

Preventing me to soar,

Killing me to the core.

Just when an angel saves me,

You lock me up and throw away the key.

Am I never to escape these feelings that follow me around,

Like a lost puppy that has been found.

But one thing I always knew,

That the problem wasn't with you, It was without you.
