Despite the heat from all the hatred, he felt cold.

All this screaming and crying was getting old.

Maybe that was his problem, no regards to feelings at all.

If he was a hated statue, he'd surely fall.

What was it with him and pain?

He brought it along on a leash but it was what he would distain.

It was a shadow that always followed him, silently from the back,

Is the reason behind his occurrences with pain because humanity was in lack?

Still he embraced it with open arms,

It was as if it had some kind of charms.

He seen what he did as right, even if he knew it was wrong.

All what he did didn't make him strong.

It made him stupid, really dumb.

Maybe from all the pain, he got numb.

Is that why he dragged it around?

Or was it that to him, it would be bound?

He didn't know, but he knew one thing that was pending,

He knew he had to be the villain, so the others could get a happy ending.

"Oh now who could it be, that lives inside of me?"
