Their hearts, together, began to bear the fruits of their feelings.

The flowers began slowly healing.

Everything seemed to fall in place,

But then things started moving with apace.

A small flame in both hearts began to spread,

And in the middle of the flames, a little girl stood, wanting the feelings dead.

He became enchanted by the flames, by the little girl, that he began to bleed.

As the fire grew more and more, so did his greed.

His greed for the pain, the love, and what it all meant,

And with that, the message was sent.

The fire died along with the flowers, the charred ground wept of what had been.

And the spinning thread of trust between them had became thin.

She pushed Him back, despite the pain,

For Her reason for living had become her bane.

And alone again, in the burnt dry land,

A single rain cloud began to expand.

Even though Her happiness ended in gloom,

She knew that someday, her happiness, her flowers,

Would Bloom.
