"Over the course of my life, I've encountered no shortage of those who would presume to speak of good and evil. Such terms mean nothing. People do what is in their best interest, regardless of who gets hurt.

Is it evil to take what one wants to satisfy hunger even if doing so will cause another suffering. What some would call evil I believe to be an appropriate response to a harsh and unfair world."

"No offense but I don't know why you've invited me here," Cami tells the hybrid as he stares at the painting the two spoke of the night they met.

Klaus turns to her and smiles.

"Because I like your company. And I sense you have the capacity for understanding someone of my complexity. You see, I returned to New Orleans to investigate a threat posed against me. What I found was a young woman pregnant, in need of protection. My noble brother, always the do-gooder, tried to manipulate me into helping her, he thought it might redeem me. He even went and got my sister to try and help him." Klaus chuckled as he moved into to his study.

"Trouble is, I've since learned of another young woman, a girl really. One with vast potential, held in captivity by a tyrant, the only one that can truly help this girl is my sister" Klaus paused again as he turned and faced Cami, looking her in the eyes.

"I want to help both these women- protect one, and free the other. So, Tell me Cami... Does that sound evil to you?"

The blonde didn't hesitate in her answer as she spoke, "I don't believe in evil as a diagnosis." it made the hybrid smile before she continued, "I think you have unstable personal relationships, stress-related paranoia, chronic anger issues, fear of abandonment, I think you could benefit from talking to someone professionally."

Though Klaus's art room was down the hall from his twins, her laugh could still be heard from where she was, walking out of her art room towards the stairs. She was clearly eavesdropping.

The hybrid took in a small breath before smiling at the blonde, "I think I prefer to talk to you. So I'm going to offer you a job, as my stenographer."

Klaus tells her as he walks into the room next to his art room and sits at his desk.

"What would I be writing?" Cami asks as she leans on the doorway.

"My memoirs of course. Someone should know my story. And it will give us time to discuss other riveting subjects, like your handsome suitor Marcel."

Aleksian walked downstairs and saw a witch in her living room.

Making eye contact, she glared at the elder making the woman shrink in her spot on the chair as the tribrid walks around her to get to the drink cart near the couch the werewolf was on.

"I told you, Agnes, I feel great," Hayley argues with the woman from her spot across from her, flipping through a book, giving a small smile to the Original as she passed her also.

"You are overdue for a check-up." the witch argues, the clinking of glasses chiming in the background.

"What am I gonna do, pop into the Quarter for a quick ultrasound. A pregnant werewolf escorted by a witch? Nothing to see here." Hayley sarcastically commented.
