Rebekah's Narrative~

My siblings and I are the first vampires in history.

300 years ago we called New Orleans home.

We were happy here... for a time.

Now we've returned, only to find a miracle.

And with it, a new responsibility.

But our family has many enemies.

These threats should have united us. Instead, Klaus has driven us apart.

My brother expects my loyalty as he had for 1,000 years, but now, perhaps, it's time to make a different choice.

Third Person POV~

"Have you spoken to our good friend, Marcel, today?" Klaus asks as the compelled woman bleeds into his glass.

Rebekah, on the other side of the table sips her tea. "No. Should I have?" she answers as she sets the cup down.

"He's been mysteriously silent. I though, perhaps, he may have whispered reasons into your ear. Along with all of those sweet nothings." the hybrid smirks as he takes the human wrist away from his glass.

"If I see him, I'll be sure to ask if he's still sore at you." Rebekah comments.

"Let me give a voice, to that look in your eyes." Klaus begins as he takes his seat.

"My saintly, noble brother lies writhing in agony in the bayou, victim of my bastard brother's bite when just one or two drops of his or his twin's blood would ease his pain. And here Klaus is smiling after driving not only my saintly brother away, but poor Aleksian as well." Klaus smiles devilishly.

"On the contrary, Nik. I'm simply enjoying my brekkie, waiting for Elijah's healthy return. I'm sure Aleksian will come home in a week or two, that's usually how long she vanishes for when you two have fights." the female Original counters.

Klaus puts his cup on the table with a huff. "Oh come on, Rebekah. You've been giving me the devil's eye all morning. Out with it."

Rebekah looks away and picks up her tea before looking her brother in the eyes.

"Perhaps, I'm concerned that if I voice my opinions about what happened to Elijah, I will end up on the wrong side of your toxic hybrid teeth." she countered curtly.

Klaus hits his paml on the table and points at his little sister, eyes wide, "Poppycock. I would never bite you. Elijah made some very offensive accusations about my intentions to words my children. He deserves a day or two of discomfort. Even our sister thought so, "
