Third Person POV ~

"This is my place, Nik. I don't appreciate you in aiding my privacy like some kind of creeping Tom." Rebekah tells her hybrid brother as she ties her robe.

"Well, I apologize for breaking up this sorted little tryst. But I do have some urgent business. Or have you forgotten that our paranoid brother Kol is running around with the white oak stake and homicide on the brain?" Klaus says as he walks into his sister's room.

"He tried to kill me last night. I didn't forget." Rebekah answers. "Yes, well, unfortunately, he seems to have absconded with my set of daggers." "Oh, poor Nik. However, will you get your way without your precious daggers. They were so handy when you wanted to end a conversation with one of us."

"Kol's irrational fear of Silas has pushed him off the edge. We need to put him down before he does any more damage. Now I know you have the last dagger, and I know you have some white ash, so hand it over." Klaus tells her, and then their green-eyed sibling enters the room.

"I leave for one bloody day and the entire supernatural community here goes completely insane... And Kol's fear of Silas is justified. When every coven of witches I've ever interacted with says the same thing, you tend to listen to them." Aleksian states as she leans against the door frame.

"Hm. And leave myself unprotected? You can file that under no chance in hell. Be gone by the time I've showered. Lurkers aren't welcome. And Aleksian, some might have said the same about the sun and the moon curse and look how real that tale was." Rebekah tells her siblings before walking into her ensuite.

"Try and talk some sense into her, Stefan." Klaus says as he walks a tad bit closer to said vampire. "Why don't you or your sister talk some sense into her? I'm headed home to play erosion guard to Damon. He's on lockdown ever since Kol compelled him to kill Jeremy last night." Stefan answers the Hybrid.

"You see that's my point exactly. If you let Kol run free then Jeremy won't live to see his junior prom and we can kiss our map to the cure goodbye. But if you help me dagger Kol, Damon will be uncompelled, Jeremy will live, and we'll all be on our merry way to a human Elena." Klaus told him.

"You are all stupid. If I had paid enough attention in the beginning I wouldn't have let this stupid search for the cure get this far. Silas is dangerous. Even for this, brother. Raising him for a stupid cure isn't worth it. And if you trust me, you'd listen." Aleksian states before walking out and leaving her brother to think about what she said. But she knows he won't listen. Not for something like this.

------------------------------------------------------------

"How did I end up playing prison guard with you?" Aleksian asks as she crosses her arms and leans on the wall behind her.

"Because you're my twin and I asked you to. And keeping an eye on you keeps you from trying to derail our search for the cure since you seem to be on Kol's side of this." Klaus responded with a smirk.

"This is no fun. We don't even get to torture him. That's like the best part of keeping someone hostage. And I don't need a babysitter, thank you very much. I'm not homicidal like Kol. I just don't want Silas or that cure out and about." the tribrid mumbled coldly and her brother laughed.

"You know of this would be an issue if you had just done your job properly. I was perfectly willing to let you train Jeremy." Klaus states as he turns to the older Salvatore brother.
